3 bedroom apartment, close to all amenities

Very spacious; excellent location, easy to find, close to the parking and the key collection. A lovely apartment, very clean and tidy and nicely decorated. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The concierge was excellent and very responsive. We had a slight issue with the main door to the building and they were fantastic. The host information and communication was excellent too.

The parking was a bit confusing as it wasn't clear that you had to collect the keys before parking the car as you needed a key fob / badge to enter the private parking venue!

De locatie was perfect. Het appartment was groot, alles was aanwezig.

Eigenlijk niets, alleen de afvoer in de badkamer liep niet goed door.

Fantastische locatie. Het Appartement lag 1 hoog waardoor je leuk de straat kon bekijken. Er is daar veel te zien. Prachtig appartement en zeer schoon. Erg mooie hoge plafond’s en sfeervol. Alles op loopafstand. Goed contact met de verhuurder.

Location was excellent, in a relatively central area of Lille old town. Apartment was as advertised, affordable for the degree of space that was there. Roomed in with 3 other people - so there was ample space for everyone. Communication with the host was excellent and was very prompt to answer any queries (within minutes to at most an hour).

Unfortunately, we went during the terrible heatwave in France in June 2026. Did not realise that there was NO air conditioning or ventilation (like fans)! (maybe I should have read the fine print?). I had communicated with the host twice before arrival about my concern about the lack of ventilation/ AC and was told to 'come back to us (them), we'd (they'd) see what we (they) can do' on each occasion. Upon arrival, the apartment was poorly ventilated (especially during the day) and the heatwave certainly did not help. I gave feedback to the host immediately but was just told that 'the apartment doesnt have air conditioning or a fan'. There was no solution provided. This was frustrating because earlier communication made it seem like the host could potentially find a solution for us. This was even more disappointing because I had pre-emptively warned them about it (before arrival). I think it would have been better if the host informs us that it is simply NOT possible to provide fans or AC due to ? current law requirements etc, rather than informing the guest that 'the host will see what they can do' or 'come back to us (later)'. My friends who stayed at the bedrooms nearest the main street were awoken every morning at 515-530am in the morning because of a garbage truck that does its rounds then....Yes, one solution is to close the windows....but this was not sustainable for a 4 night stay during this terrible heatwave with barely any ventilation. The host also provided 3 toilet rolls for 4 guests who stayed for 4 nights. We ran out of toilet paper on the last morning and had to improvise...There was nowhere else in the apartment that we could find that one extra roll of toilet paper...Maybe provide 1 - 2 more rolls for the next guest who stays?
