Great Stay

The owner met me at the property quite late as I couldn’t get there any earlier, I did appreciate that, she did not need to go to all that trouble. I Had everything I needed and more. Great views from the balcony. Pool was very nice. The property was only a 2km walk from V&A Waterfront, you actually get there faster if you walk, especially if it’s peak hour. I recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

The hill I had to climb to get back to the property.

An amazing find

We loved the view!! It was spectacular! The room was lovely and clean, the owner was very accommodating and nice. Bed was comfortable, it was a great stay. We loved our stay here.

The pool could have been cleaner, that was a shame. Suggestions for improvement would be having a safe deposit box and a full length mirror.

Value & cleanliness in Cape T own

The property was quiet and far enough away from the main tourist street, albeit up a steep hill, but Ubers are plentiful. Samantha my host was great. Gave me an early check in, and contacted me a couple of times to ensure all was good. The staff ( who I never saw) kept the place immaculate, making for a great base for an active break in CT.

Great night-time views from our balcony. We were exceptionally treated by the staff. It was a special wedding anniversary and we could not have had a better place to stay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place!

Let’s start my first inpression with staff (Samantha and Dee) is super nice and friendly. I changed my check-in time for a couple times and they are so helpful and accommodating. The room number 5 has amazing view of the ocean, Lion Mountain and Table Mountain all lined up on top of that the room is exceptional clean. Definitely recommend to spend your time in Cape Town here!!

Great location uphill with amazing views and great apartment with sufficient facilities

The location is great, a bit uphill but that meant the views are amazing. Looking over Cape Town, Table Mountain and the harbour in the distance. We enjoyed the views and balcony a lot.

The lighting in the room is pretty bright white. I prefer a warmer white color in my bedroom.

Excellent location. Hiking trails close by. Close to central town with many shopping options and restaurants. Checking in and out super efficient. Great city and mountain views from the property.

Great way to see Cape Town! From the small town feel of upper Bo Kaap you get a Birds Eye view of one of the great citie

The view is amazing! Well worth the incline. We walked down Bloem right into the heart of Cape Town and then grabbed an Uber to come home even though I did want to tackle the steep path home at least once! Bed was comfy, lovely bath and kitchen.

Amazing views and great location to take in downtown Cape Town

Amazing location with Stunning views of the city, the water and Table Mountain. Comfortable and convenient. Parking was a bit to figure out, but then secure and great. If you want those views, you have to go high on a hill, which non locals might be squeamish about! But worth it. Comfy bed and the kitchen was stocked properly for a stay of a few nights. Wifi was GREAT over on the couch and by the windows. If you are using it on the bed and if it gets spotty, just move over there - worked like a charm! We didn't use the pool because I was injured, but it was lovely! My husband and I were also in awe and appreciated the calls to prayer every evening - it was magical.

My own fault? There are lots of stairs and I broke my foot after we booked this property. It worked out ok, but it is not a handicap accessible property if that is an issue for you. If you're mobile, it's AMAZING!

The proximity of the property to all the places we wished to visit.

I lost an item worth 7k within the property and the host didn’t make an effort to find it. She instead told me not to blame anyone. The bed is far too low. The are no lights by the swimming pool which makes swimming in the evening unsafe. When we asked for one, the owner said the moon should help with that. There is no safe parking as requested on booking. The property has a garage but we weren’t allowed to use it. We parked outside. The fact that we had to walk out into the street made us feel unsafe whenever we were leaving or arriving in the night. There are ants everywhere so if you leave food outside even just going outside, you’ll find ants in it. There’s only one small mirror only in the bathroom enough to see your face and shoulders. The shower drainage was blocked. There are 3 plugging sockets in the room and no extension cord, so using the mirror and a hair dryer/straightener was a nightmare. There was no iron dedicated to the room, we had to ask for it. There’s no ironing board so we had to use the bed, whose height is even lower than an average couch.

Sehr zentrale Lage und sehr sauber. Wir durften früher einchecken. Dass der Muezzin mehrfach täglich zu hören war, hat uns nicht gestört. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt.

Schönes Apartment im lebendigen (und sicheren) Bo Kap

Die Apartments sind sehr schön eingerichtet, in einer guten Lage im Bo-Kap Viertel, mit Blick über die Stadt (CBD) bzw Richtung Tafelberg. Die Küche ist klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Jederzeit wieder.

Een heerlijk verblijf met het mooiste uitzicht.

Het uitzicht is fantastisch! Ik had een prachtig groot balkon met uitzicht op de Tafelberg en op de baai. Ook vanuit mijn kamer kon ik genieten van het uitzicht. De kamer zelf was comfortabel, zeer schoon en een goed bed. Ook de wifi was goed. Samantha was een superhost!

Dat ik na 10 dagen toch weer naar huis moest....

Ausblick auf Tafelberg. Ausblick über Kapstadt. Garage. Direkt in Bo-Kaap. Hat alles was man benötigt. Freundliche Gastgeberin.

Morgens um 5 Uhr war das islamische Gebet zu hören und hat leider etwas den Schlaf gestört. Hier wäre eine besser Abdichtung oder Information vor Buchung hilfreich.

Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo!

La gentilezza e la disponibilità di Samantha sono state molto apprezzate. L'appartamento e la struttura sono fantastiche con una vista meravigliosa sulla città. La piccola cucina a disposizione ha tutto il necessario. La posizione è ottima in quanto in 10 minuti al massimo di macchina si è nel pieno centro e nel waterfront. Comoda posizione per raggiungere qualsiasi punto della città.

È caldamente consigliato muoversi SOLO in macchina o con Uber dall'appartamento. Noi avevamo noleggiato la macchina e non c'era alcun problema ma se pensi di muoverti a piedi vista comunque la vicinanza al centro, no!
