Het Pakhuis Haarlem

Quirky property with fabulous roof terrace. In excellent location in Haarlem close to train and shopping. House was clean. Expert at spiral staircases by the time I left. Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

unfortunately couldn't cook in the property which was a downside.

Perfect location, near to everything but still peaceful in the evening Roof terrace was lovely, unfortunately due to the heatwave we were unable to use it!

Stairs in the property are not for the feint hearted!

Loved the private roof top garden and the location.

There is no toilet on the 2nd floor where the bedroom is - only a shower and sink. You have to go down a steep, twisting staircase in the middle of the night to go the bathroom. This was the major surprise - that and the bed didn’t have blankets that covered the whole bed - it was a blanket for a twin bed, but on a double bed meant for two people. Also didn’t realize until the second day the thermostat for the entire apt was on the first floor as it was chilly the first night.
