De Haarlemse Logeerkamer

This was our first stay in apartments in many years, and honestly, it exceeded all our expectations. We spent a long time deciding whether to stay in Amsterdam itself or somewhere nearby. Choosing Haarlem turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. It was wonderful to spend the day in busy, lively Amsterdam and then come back here in the evening. From the very first moment, this place felt like home. As soon as we arrived, we immediately wanted to extend our stay. We were very lucky that a later reservation had been cancelled, allowing us to stay one extra day, and we did not hesitate for a second. The apartment is cozy, spotless, and located in a beautiful neighborhood where local people live rather than crowds of tourists. Everything we needed was within walking distance: supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and the train station, which is only about a 10-minute walk away through lovely and peaceful streets. There is also a small gym nearby that I was able to use free of charge. It is not large, but it is very clean, welcoming, and has everything needed for a good workout. As motorcycle travellers, we especially appreciated the parking arrangements. We were able to park our motorcycle right next to the apartment, which was extremely convenient and gave us great peace of mind during our stay. Although there was an additional fee, it was absolutely worth it for the convenience and security. Most importantly, Amanda has created a truly special atmosphere here. The apartment has a wonderful vibe that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed immediately. We have already decided that if we visit Amsterdam again in the future, we will definitely stay in Haarlem and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Amanda, for your hospitality and for creating such a lovely place. The only small suggestion we could make is that a full-length mirror would be a nice addition to the apartment. Apart from that, everything was simply perfect. Highly recommended!

Very quiet small studio with all needed for comfortable stay. Amanda (the owner)is very friendly and helpful. We did not have any real problems but weather :-)

At rainy days it is not very easy to dry cloth but we have found a way for ;-)

Perfect studio room, very clean (spotless), comfortable, and quiet, with access to the garden. The house is ideally located in Haarlem, close to everything a traveler might need, including cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, and the Frans Hals Museum. The train station is also only about 1 km away, making it an easy walk. Amsterdam is a 15 minutes by train. Amanda is a lovely host and made the stay even more enjoyable!

Schöne kleine private Unterkunft, sehr gepflegt, in guter und ruhiger Lage. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze vor der Haustür, kostenfreie Plätze in fußläufiger Entfernung. Sehr netter Kontakt. Absolut sauber.

Für uns hat alles gepasst. Bad ist natürlich klein, wie aus anderen Beschreibungen zu erfahren ist. Küche reicht gut aus, um Frühstück zu machen, aber nicht, um richtig zu kochen. Aber muss man auch nicht, da viele nette Lokale in der Nähe sind.
