Merj's Guest House in Wolseley

Very cosy place in a very quiet and nice Green neighbourhood. Rooms and living room cosy. Room 3 on 3rd floor. Beautiful and welcoming Terrace on 2nd floor. The owners are not living here… but I met the owner in the morning … flexible and discret man… thank you

It’s quiet and lovely. It feels like home. Although tenants share the bathroom, it‘s clean and tidy.

The only thing that bothered me was the fridge in the bedroom. It made some noise when doing its work. I’m a light sleeper.

Very clean, cozy. Had everything I needed, even things I hadn't considered like access to a kitchen. You can tell the hosts are experienced and put thought into the accomodation.

Didn't affect me as I stayed over the weekend and parked on the street, but others may struggle as street parking is limited in time and availability, the other option is a paid lot right across the property.

The location was great for getting around.

The bathroom could have been cleaned more frequently. There appeared to be soap bars, shampoo and conditioner bottles left from previous guests. These items should probably be thrown out as new guests don’t want to use them. I went for a walk on Saturday morning. When I returned to the guest house, the owner and his son were entering the building. As I walked to the door to enter, the owner asked if I was staying there. He was offensive by assuming that it was not possible that I would be staying there. His manner and attitude left me feeling uncomfortable. His approach was unacceptable.
