Sunflower House Weligama

I had such a wonderful stay here, can’t recommend it enough! The place is really peaceful and quiet, with just a short walk down to the beach. You can then go along the coast to coconut beach. Every morning you can enjoy a big healthy breakfast while you watch birds, chipmunks and even monkeys from the spacious balcony. It really feels like living in the middle of nature! The rooms are simple and clean with AC and good beds. There is also a kitchen and a washing machine. The host and his family goes well and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and I can’t recommend this place enough! I ended up staying for two weeks and will definitely stay here again when visiting Sri Lanka.

The WiFi can be a bit slow when many are sharing, but this goes for most of Sri Lanka.

Such a friendly stay - the family were so nice and helpful whilst there. A short walk from coconut beach and even though it’s a bit out the way you can get the bus back into Weligama. We originally booked the budget but upgraded to the double and was perfect for what we needed. Washing machine available to use and a kitchen and fridge! Extra bonus the cute dachshund dog 🐶

Only comment is it’s a bit out the way but we knew that when we booked it

The room is spacious and VERY quiet what I appreciate a lot. The owners are more than kind,valways ready to help.
