Boston Beacon Hill The Aldrich House

Aldrich House in Boston is the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve checked out. It’s more than a rental—it’s an experience shaped by the warmth; history, design, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel genuinely cared for. We wanted a 5-night location which could sleep up to 10 people and host up to 20 for our daughter’s graduation. The Aldrich House was the perfect location. But what truly elevates the experience at Aldrich House is the exceptional care and professionalism of the House Manager, Nora Burke. She communicates clearly, responds promptly, and brings a genuine warmth to every interaction. It’s obvious she takes great pride in ensuring guests feel welcomed, supported, and completely at ease.

The one thing that physically challenged the 4 couples over 55 yrs of age was transversing the beautiful, historic (est.1837), spiral 5 story staircase. (See picture) However, the historic, European styled elevator greatly alleviated this challenge. So, on one hand it was physically exerting, on the other, all of us burned the extra calories we consumed on this trip! Aldrich House has a professional chef level kitchen in which we fully utilized the amenities within it!

La maison est un musée en elle même. Les meubles , les tableaux et les sculptures , tout a été choisi avec goût . C'est un privilège de pouvoir habiter quelques jours dans une maison aussi incroyable et aussi bien située dans la rue la plus chic de Beacon Hill. L'ascenseur est très fonctionnel. C'est dommage que la climatisation ne fonctionne pas très bien sur les 2 derniers étages (bruyantes et pas efficaces) alors que tout le reste de la maison est frais. Les salles de bain sont spacieuses et propres. La cuisine est ultra fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Une mention spéciale pour Nora , notre hôtesse qui nous a accueilli gentiment et fait visiter la maison à notre arrivée. Elle nous a donné plein de renseignement avant et pendant notre séjour. Elle a trouvé une location de fauteuil roulant pour ma maman , de quoi louer pour le bébé et autres services comme la livraison des courses à domicile avant notre arrivée.

The Aldrich House is just like the photo's the art is museum quality in every room, and the antiques are so fitting with the location. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with a large supply of China and glasses lots of kitchen supplies for entertaining. The elevator made the 5 stories easy for luggage and older individuals. Ari from property management made everything so easy for any requests that we had he went above and beyond to help us.
