A long climb from the main thoroughfare to the room

Very spacious apartment room / studio in the heart of Old Town. Incredible location and gorgeous view from the bedroom. Lovely host. Had all the amenities I needed. Overall an amazing stay, thank you.

Very narrow staircase up to the room which would be a falling hazard for older / less mobile guests. House was not numbered on the outside which made it hard to locate.

Great location just above the old city, one block from a street full of restaurants and just 2-3 blocks from the famous main street. Full apartment with kitchen and dining room. Seems like a genuine Dubrovnik apartment. Great views over the old town and out to sea. Good AC, though not very quiet. Nice host.

Wifi was mostly useless; it barely worked or didn't work at all. The router is on the first floor and the apartment is on the fourth floor. They need to get a repeater. The host kindly offered to let me come downstairs and sit on his sofa if I needed a good signal so if you desperately need to make a reservation or send a message you will be fine, but for relaxing, surfing, sending emails ... not so useful. The apartment is up a hill with lots of steps. You should get dropped at the Buza gate at the top of the old town. Even then if you have a large suitcase you will need to carry it up and down several steps. If you are young and in shape not a problem, but if you are elderly you will likely need someone to help you. Seems like most of the apartments in Dubrovnik are in this same part of town and would have the same issue. This one, being close to the Buza gate, is probably more easily accessible than most.
