Art Café Tulipani

The location is great, with a metro station just a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is spacious and comfortably accommodates up to five people. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The interior is unique and stylish.

Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. The shower cabin was very dirty — it looked like the tiles hadn’t been properly cleaned for a long time and there was visible mold. There was also a lot of dust on the artificial flowers. The bed linen seemed quite old and worn. The coffee machine was outdated as well. In the kitchen, there was only an old, dirty dish sponge, which was not very hygienic. Additionally, we were asked to check out at 10:00, even though the Booking listing stated that check-out was at 11:00, which was inconvenient.

Only one full bedroom and one refurbished. The apartment is refurbished from a cafe or smth. It can be used for a short stay, but might not be convenient for a long one.

Excellent stay at Art Café Tulipani! Ivana was a wonderful host - prompt, polite, and professional with clear instructions that made check-in completely smooth and hassle-free. The apartment is truly unique with beautiful artistic and historical character throughout. I loved the decorative bike on the wall, the curated book collection, games, and especially the charming vintage touches - the lovely photo card album on the table, the old typewriter on display downstairs, and the beautiful family history woven into the space. It’s like staying in a living museum filled with character and stories. The space features three single beds upstairs (one pull-out, one daybed) plus a double bed downstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped with all cooking equipment, quality crockery, and a dishwasher - everything you need. The location is fantastic! Excellent selection of shops and restaurants nearby, including a Lidl for great-value groceries. The neighborhood felt very safe even at night as a solo female traveler. Transport connections are superb - easy access to trains, trams, buses, and taxis, all at good prices. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend Art Café Tulipani for small families of 3-4 people or solo travelers with children. Best suited for children under 7 or taller guests over 5.5 feet (the single beds upstairs may be short for taller teenagers). downstairs bedroom has a glass window on the side, so families with young teens might want to consider room arrangements for privacy, particularly around the shower area

The area was quiet and the city centre was easily reachable thanks to the metro nearby.

The beds were not comfortable and many of the utensils in the house were broken ( coffee machine, microwave etc). The house was pretty but not very practical for 5 people. I would recommend a tv in the master bedroom and to rent the house for max 4 people. Please make sure the coffee machine works.
