Cozy Apartment in Vintage House in Kandersteg

Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile per ogni necessità. Rispondono velocemente e trovano soluzioni. La struttura è molto spaziosa può accogliere diverse persone. La posizione è buona rispetto al centro del paese. Cucina completa a disposizione e anche alcuni beni necessari per cucinare (sale, spezie, caffè…) e per pulire. Il self check-in è molto comodo. Accettano cani che è un altro punto a favore. Anche i tre parcheggi privati sono un punto forte. I prezzi in media con i dintorni. Bella la terrazza esterna.

L’accesso alla struttura prevede una scalinata di legno che può essere scomodo per chi ha bambini o ha limitazioni fisiche. I soffitti sono molto bassi, per chi supera 1.80m c’è rischio di colpire la testa in diversi punti (cosa successa). C’è un solo bagno anche se la struttura può accogliere 8 persone. La moquette è risaputa essere difficile da pulire e igienizzare e l’appartamento è vecchio e disomogeneo nello stile.

The apartment is spacious and well-equipped for cooking, with a fully functional kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The dining area is pleasant, featuring a large window with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The town itself is charming, with great local restaurants and bars offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The internet connection was excellent, and the TV worked well. The apartment has multiple rooms, making it a good fit for families or groups looking for a base in the area.

Unfortunately, the house is not as secluded as it appears in the photos—it’s located right on a rather noisy road. The entrance to the property felt neglected and was not very clean. Upon arrival, we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. Inside the apartment, there was a musty smell and a heavy, stuffy atmosphere. Opening the windows brought in a large number of flies and mosquitoes, which made things uncomfortable. The terrace, which looks inviting in the photos, is actually located one floor below the apartment, directly facing the street, and was quite run-down. While the host was polite and responsive, no alternative solutions were offered for the issues we encountered.
