The cosy lodge and everything we needed and even provided toys and books for youngs if ur coming with them. And provide towels and hand towels and pot towels aswell.

Nothing.

Plenty of room for a family and to give each other some of their own space.

Initially a little noisy being close to the motorway, but after a few nights you were use to it.

Going to miss this place had a very homely feel, I didnt want to miss the boxing but the TV hook up had everything I needed from Netflix to prime to Dazn, the beds were comfy non of those cheap mattresses these were firm brilliant bedding and very clean, the air fryer was new the corner sofa suite new I was falling asleep on there, the location peaceful and the neighbours great, Jamie was a great host and asked us if we needed anything In the middle of the stay, I dont usually stay at the same venues twice but this i would definitely return too, great location central to Yorkshire dales and lake district. Location was peaceful despite being close to motorway, had fridge, dishwasher, air fryer oven, 2 bedrooms with 2 toilets and 2 showers with 1 bathtub, place was huge.

The exact cabin first time can be hard to find so please see my picture uploaded to help find exact location from Google maps purely to help others, we was using the wrong barrier first time so upon arrival walking took me 25 minutes return because I used the wrong barrier and walked the whole estate lol the correct barrier by swimming pool 5 mins easy but ppl do arrvie quite regularly so even if you wait its not long tbf nice views whilst you wait.

Everything in the Lodge itself was amazing. It was so lovely lots of room and storage space. The hosts thought of everything., it was lovely decorated furniture, bedrooms were lovely. The beds where so comfy too. We came as a couple but if I was with a family with kids there is so much in the lodge to entertain them games, books etc. The site itself was quiet and lovely. The site manager called Mark went out of his way and ran us to Aldi to get some shopping, showed us a few place to get Take aways and food and pointed out some places for us. We visited Silverdale, Arnside and Kendal which where all near. Booked into the Restaurant but had to cancel as had to go home early because of an emergency but staff were always so lovely and helpful. Everything was fabulous and would definately stay again. We probably had the best week too as it was scorching the only thing I wish I had done was to bring a sunbed to sunbathe although there was garden furniture and the lodge had a gate so my dog could roam about and not.escape.

Wish the Restaurant had been open later on certain days but I guess the staff need a break too.
