A quiet location within a pleasant walk of the beach and the shops. The house is set in a large private garden. The kitchen was very well equipped. The shower had great water pressure. The lounge furniture was comfortable. There was plenty of storage upstairs. It is a characterful, quiet, comfortable house.

There is only one WC/bathroom in the property. To get to it you have to go through a door from the lounge into the integral garage. You then have to walk across the bare concrete garage floor to access the bathroom that is diagonally opposite the door to the living area that you have just come through. This is a very long way to go and across a cold dusty floor if you need to use the bathroom in the night. Whilst the important things were clean on arrival (sinks, WC, shower, fridge), the house was extremely dusty with think layers of dust and cobwebs. In addition, the kitchen sink did not drain at all because the trap was full of rice. This suggests that the house had not been properly inspected by the agent between lets. The agency did not respond promptly to messages sent via Booking.com. When I visited their office to collect the keys I found they are open only between 14.00 and 18.00 Tuesdays to Saturdays inclusive. It would have been helpful to have had this information on the Booking.com listing.
