Villa Don Camillo

It was a proper oasis of tranquility in a beautiful setting. The quality of room, pool area and dining facilities were excellent and yet understated.

Perhaps the staff could be more friendly but we had no issues with service or needs. This didn’t detract from our beautiful experience.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful and exactly as the photos showed. Very quaint and cozy. My only regret was that I overbooked our events and didn’t get to enJOY your place more.

Maybe pulling our suitcases in gravel but that is our fault for over packing lol.

Peaceful location, it’s close to Sorrento (Piano or Sant’Agnello stations only 10 mins walk away) but far enough away from the busy centre to be a really calm place to be. Pompeii was around 40 mins on the train Good local bars and restaurants, also lots to see here if you want to get away from the busy vibe of Sorrento The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, it’s so pretty. The room was spacious and spotless, aircon worked well. Small hotel so a really personal, almost B&B feel.

Nothing we didn’t like, it was a great place.

Beautiful estate with lots of flowers and plants. Great pool area which is private with plenty of sun loungers, it was clean and had plenty of space. Modern, clean and spacious rooms. Great views of the hills in the surrounding areas. Breakfast was nice - the omelette was great. The ability to borrow an umbrella. The attentiveness and responsiveness of the staff.

The distance from Sorrento (we knew this when booking though) - it is a long walk and also challenging due to there not being many pavements and busy traffic. There was no lounge or inside bar area - we felt like we could have spent more time in the estate if this was present. Thin walls/ceiling in the room - the guests who were staying above us could be heard easily.
