Excellent apartment in the hear of the historical center with mountain views!

Excellent apartment located in the heart of Oberammergau. We had enough space for a family of 4. This is a renovated older house so the rooms (and doors) are smaller than usual, but it was not a problem and added charm to the place. There are 2 rooms, with one of them being a living room/bedroom combo (with a full double bed). The kitchen is also the entrance to the apartment. An excellent addition was the parking permit, which allowed parking in the blue zones of the historical center and get closer for luggage unpacking. The views from the window were excellent!

This is the center of the historic city and right above a restaurant, therefore, it can get noisy at evenings and sometimes cigarette smoke can enter the apartment if the windows are open - this is not a deal-breaker but something to consider for your stay.

I am glad to have stayed. It is genuine.

Location was excellent. Restaurants and bakeries and shops all in reach, We could walk the area and return after a breakfast to freshen up. Street parking was convenient with the provided pass. It was quiet and gave a sense of privacy. The vista from the second floor windows was all very nice.

Stated access to washing machine was in fact conditioned upon its availability after housekeeping needs. This limited utility to us. This is a historic structure without the feeling inside of being very old except for the fact that the doorways and old woodwork to the two bedrooms were very short. Until I hung up paper warning signal I banged my head a few times. Quaint and painful. The bathroom was very tiny . The bedroom did not have adequate surfaces to place luggage and the lighting should be upgraded to be more useful and safe.

The apartment locationwas excellent. It was close to the train station and the ski lift. It was very clean, modern and spacious. It had all the facilities needed. Simon(the host) was very responsive and replied immediately to any queries we had. We really enjoyed our stay here

Wir hatten die Ergeschosswohnung. Für zwei Personen hat sie genügend Platz und ein großes Bad. Im Flur befindet sich die Küchenzeile und ein Ablagebrett. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral.

Eine Wohnung mit einem Bad ohne Aussenfenster oder Abluftkanal, ohne Geschirrspüler und ohne die versprochenen Waschmaschine und Bidet als „Deluxe“ zu bezeichnen, halten wir für gewagt. Dass unter den Fenstern an zwei Seiten ein Restaurant betrieben wird und man - wie auch von den Touristen und den Autos auf der Straße - jedes Geräusch hört, wird in der Beschreibung u.E. nicht ausreichend beschrieben. Auch von der darüberliegenden Wohnung hört man fast jeden Schritt. Was an Holzverkleidungen an der Decke und an der Wand und einem grünen Kachelofen besonders bayrisch sein soll, entzieht sich unserer Kenntnis.

Perfekt für einen kurzen Trip in die Oberammergauer Alpen

Das Apartment hat uns alle positiv überrascht, auch wenn die Bilder nicht 100% das uns zugeteilte Apartment war. Die Küche war gut und hochwertig ausgestattet, die Betten super bequem. Perfekte Lage im Ortskern, von dort aus war zu Fuß alles easy zu erreichen!

Die Dusche ist schon sehr klein, vor allem wenn man einen 1.96m großen Mann dabei hat :) Aber für ein paar Tage kein Problem.

Fijn, licht en ruim appartement op rij afstand van prachtige wandelingen en ski gebieden.

Prachtig licht en ruim appartement in het hartje centrum van oberammergau. Parkeren voor de deur. Sauna, mooie keuken en balkon met avond zon. Leuke restaurantje op loop afstand.

Het is wat slaperig stadje, maar dus ook heerlijk rustig.
