Great Stay in Sortland

+ nice rooms + Clean facilities + Everything worked well for check-in (communication via messages; there is no staff on the premises) + Nice place with kitchen and dining room as well as fitness room

- parking for extra cost! - price rather high - The included breakfast is served in the bowling centre next door and was cold (eggs, bacon, pancakes), could be improves. That it was in the building next to the hotel was no problem for me. The breakfast itself could be improved, though. - it always seems pretty minimalistic with no staff present, but this seems to be common in Norway

Great location, clean and comfortable. Also, I hadn’t realised when I booked but they provided a buffet breakfast at the bowling alley next door

My only criticism would be that black curtains would have been nice given the 24 hour daylight - curtains did an ok job but the room was really never dark

reasonable expectations

the place is a 'value priced' facility. once I got my head wrapped around the self check-in, the dated elevator and the self-service kitchen & dining, the stay became more enjoyable. the room was just fine, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was updated. you get what you pay for and in the case of this facility a bit more.

Very comfy hotel but please turn the heater off in summer

Very easy communication, great room with view of the fjord, kitchen available to use, car park out front, right off our travel route, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

The floor heating was left on in the bathroom, which turned it into a 40 degree sauna and the room itself was nearly impossible to cool down because the windows only open a little bit. This made it much harder to get a good night's sleep, which is a shame. The beds also slide apart easily so it's possible to fall in the gap in between in the middle of the night.

Was pleasantly surprised that the rooms have been refurbished and are a lot nicer than the ones in the pictures. Free parking available right outside the hotel and was an easy check in.

Maybe a desk instead of a small table would have been nice.

Bene tutto anche se l'aspetto esterno non è accattivante. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima ed a disposizione per le nostre domande.

La prima colazione viene servita nel locale del bowling adiacente e la qualità non è super ma soprattutto è un locale un poco triste.

Ein gemütliches, kleineres Hotel in der Stadt, mit Küche und Waschmaschinen. Empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und kleinem Erker mit Sitzecke. Sehr gemütlich und viel Platz zum Lesen. Frühstück im benachbarten Bowlingcenter war reichhaltig mit viel Auswahl. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Flott for syklister

Veldig bra fasilitert for syklister! Vi var på vei Norge på langs, og trengte overnatting i Sortland. Dette var perfekt. Stort, låsbart rom for å gjøre litt småfiks på sykkel og utstyr, og veldig behjelpelig personale.

Reint og pent hyggelig å være til frokost og fantastisk utvalg av mat.

Badekar med dusj som rakk meg opp på skulderen så i måtte stå på kne for å dusje. Ingen skap til å henge/legge klær på.

Sehr wohl gefuhlt

Das ganze war eine angenehme Überraschung. Das Zimmer komfortabler als erwartet. Leider fehlte, wie so oft eine gute Ablage für die Kleidung und ein Nachttisch. Dafür schöne Sitzecke und Kühlschrank. Aufenthaltsraum und Küche top. Auch gab es, kostenlos, Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Etwas mehr ökologisches Bewusstsein wäre gut. In den leeren Zimmern brennt immer Licht. Ein neuer Gast findet bestimmt den Lichtschalter. Auch in den abgeschlossenen Sporträumen brennt die ganze Nacht das Licht.

Buen lugar para una estancia corta

El hotel está bien ubicado cerca del centro de la ciudad. La habitación es de un tamaño normal y aunque no tiene cocina, dispone el hotel de una zona de cocina para los huéspedes. Tiene una zona grande para que se pueda descansar o ver la tele.

El baño parecía algo viejo pero estaba bien. El gimnasio estaba reformándose por lo que no se podía usar. No tiene parking gratuito, pero había sitio en las cercanías.
