Ferienapartment "Zur Linde"

Super apartment with 3 bedrooms, bathroom with shower & jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, table football and board games in the living room, sauna on the large balcony overlooking the lush forest. All modern, clean and well organized. The host is professional, responsive and already thought of everything. (The place is on top of a hill in a small village, so it was a pleasant surprise to have a fully stocked fridge on arrival, from which we could take&pay even eggs and cheese, to cook breakfast.) It was the perfect base for exploring this region of Austria, with all the mountains, lakes, trains, viaducts, etc.

We absolutely loved it. The only thing I can think of: if you come in the winter for skiing, then this place is 15 minutes drive from the closest slope, and the winding mountain roads might become tricky with snow & ice.

Außerordentlich ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es steht eine gut durchdachte und voll ausgestattet Küche zur Verfügung, dazu eine Whirlpool-Badewanne, eine private Infrarot-Kabine am Balkon, ein Tischfußball-Tisch und Schränke mit relativ günstigen Produkten des täglichen Bedarfs. Jedes Zimmer hat einen Fernseher und man verfügt über ein zuverlässiges W-Lan. Auch für Kleinigkeiten wie eine Auswahl an Produkten im Bad ist ebenso gesorgt wie für ein Mülltrennungs-System. Die Kommunikation ist kurz und klar, von unserer Seite sind keine Fragen offen geblieben.

Die Lage ist doch recht abgelegen. Dafür ist sie zwar in Summe ruhig, die nahe gelegene Semmering-Bahn macht sich akustisch doch bemerkbar. Die Bahnstrecke ist beeindruckend, aber kein tagesfüllendes Ausflugsziel. Mögliche andere Ziele, wie der Semmering oder das Freibad in Gloggnitz sind ein Stück weit entfernt. Das Preisniveau ist somit trotz der vielen Annehmlichkeiten eher hoch und lohnt sich nur, wenn man mit einer wirklich großen Gruppe kommt. Etwa 300 Euro pro Nacht (Sommer 2026), vor der man sich die Betten selbst beziehen muss, ist für eine Familie doch eine ordentliche Summe.

Bardzo ładnie urządzony i niesamowicie przestronny apartament, w którym było wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy. Spokojna i cicha okolica, idealna zarówno na piesze i rowerowe wycieczki, jak i na przejażdżkę kolejką. Świetna lokalizacja dla osób, które chcą aktywnie spędzić czas, ciesząc się jednocześnie spokojem i pięknymi widokami.

Extremely clean and well equipped apartment, very relaxing stay overall. The hosts were super friendly. Breitenstein itself is very picturesque, with lots of hikes possible by foot, or alternatively a short drive or ride away with the Semmeringbahn.
