Large appartment, well equipped, quiet and private parking!

Quiet top-floor large appartment well equipped and very comfortable. Having a private parking space so central to the city centre was a real advantage. Easy check in arrangements. Gary is an excellent host and left goodies in the fridge.

The only minor issue was a 10.00am checkout time. A bit early on a Sunday but not the end of the world.

Chester Stays UK 2025

The historic building the apartment is in is beautiful. It is centrally located for all your needs and activities while staying in Chester. The Chester City Walls are right by the building. The River Dee is only a few minutes away, which has cruises and boating activities available. I would highly recommend it here as a place to base yourself in Chester. The unit has all the equipment you might need to self cater your meals.

Great compact apartment with parking

Location is ideal Had everything you need Clean comfortable bed Parking space was very convenient

Only a couple is small things, the carpet in the living room was a bit tired & stained & the living room door wouldn’t close

Great but with a few areas to consider!

Location excellent and apartment in good condition overall. Cleanliness great although some areas such as kitchen and bathroom quite dated if that was of concern. The bath/shower could do with an anti slip mat. The communal hall was also dated with wood chip and up a few flights of stairs. Parking available but not the easiest fo spots for manouvering in and out of the property in a medium or big car.

We encountered a very strong smell of marijuana on two of or days staying at the property. The smell seemed to be concentrated in the bathroom via extractor. One evening it was so strong we thought that somebody was actually smoking in the apartment as we entered.

Amazing time in Chester - flat was perfect

Location, cleanliness, had everything you needed for your stay. Only 1 minute walk to shops, restaurants, bars etc.

Parking was a bit tight if you have a big car but having the space was an added bonus

Close to city centre but far enough away to still be quiet.

Just the stairs and that was only due to an injury to my knee which happened the day before we arrived.

Great place and position

Fantastic having an apartment in the centre of town with a car park. The apartment was spacious, great to be able to self cater and the washing machine was a bonus. The room was quiet, close to supermarkets and the centre of town. Bedding was excellent. Communication with owner was very supportive on arrival and assisted us upon entry.

The four flights of steps were difficult with suitcases and worth being mindful of. Self checkin is not always ideal, particularly in these situations, as the unit is difficult to locate.
