Nicely decorated and excellent location to access all sights

The main bedroom was located in a loft with low ceilings ( needed to be aware not to bump head on rafters) . Also the stairs to the loft felt narrow and too steep.

The place is beautiful, charming, clean, and full of character. Beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed. Francesco was amazing, he greeted us with a big smile in the heavy rain, helped us with our luggage up to the apartment. He gave us great recommendations for things to do in or around Florence! We loved his enthusiasm about the city! The location is amazing, easy to get to everywhere you need to go with nice cafes and restaurants around. Good shops, grocery store just around the corner and Mercato Centrale with a lot of food choices on the second floor where you can try all kinds of food, even for the picky eaters in your family! Street performances right on the street next to you in the evenings. So much history around you! Mona Lisa's house on the next street! The original Mr. Giocondo's (Mona Lisa's husband) store a few steps away which is now a cafe with great pastries and coffee in the morning! Cafe Agora! You can even sit at the cafe in the evening, sip your drink and listen to live music at Piazza San Lorenzo!

The apartment is on the top floor of a building that is around 700 years old so there is no elevator and an out 60 steps to climb up to get to. Francesco was amazing in helping us with our heavy suitcases up the stairs but I suggest you travel light if you are booking this place. It is not easy to take luggage up or down! It also accommodates 4 people to sleep, two on the loft and two on the pull out couch but keeping the bed open makes the space even smaller. It will be ideal for two people, maybe a kid but for us (4 adults) it was a bit cramped, specially if you have big suitcases like is, most of the area will be taken by the suitcases and nowhere to walk around at all. Forget about taking any large suitcases up to the loft! The loft ceiling is also short so you will be bending up there. It will add to the charm of the place. We were there mainly to take a shower, change and sleep, otherwise we spent most of our time outside exploring the beautiful city! If you are planning to stay in, cook and be inside, this is going to be too small. Nevertheless, we loved it, and enjoyed our time! Location and the host were great and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

O chuveiro não tem força e a temperatura da água não se mantém quente. Acessibilidade é um problema também para quem tem dificuldade de se locomover ou está com muita bagagem.
