Beautiful Historic House in Central Longmont

This is a beautiful and charming house located in a quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and well kept. We especially enjoyed being able to enjoy coffee and breakfast on the deck in the private back yard.

With five users, the wifi was a slow, but good for casual use.

ease of getting in the property. Off street parking available. Plenty of room for all of us. Laundry facilities available. The beds were comfortable and the window shades did a pretty good job of room darkening. All of the bedrooms had a white noise machine which helped with traffic and wind noise while sleeping. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and silverware available as well as a dishwasher. Overall, I was very happy with our stay and would stay again on a return trip to Longmont.

The property is on the corner of a main east/west street and the corner has a four way stop so traffic noise was noticeable at times. We also had a smoke detector low battery issue in the middle of the night one night. Only remedy was to disconnect the unit entirely which the security system didn't like and repeatedly gave an alert that one of the smoke detectors wasn't working. The back door had to be held shut tightly to engage the lock mechanism. And the lighting and steps from the deck were not ideal. Would recommend a handrail for one of the sets of stairs from the deck.
