The area was very safe. The apartment was on the third floor with a security gate at the door which made it extra safe. The host was nice and helpful. The apartment was clean and the host provided a nice tray with wine and treats. It was just around the corner from Canal walk which is very convenient. Loved the two heaters!

Little things make a big difference. The apartment had high quality furniture but the rusted door handles in the kitchen and bathroom could be replaced. The tv remote situation was annoying. Wifi was provided but didn't work properly with the tv smartbox. We wanted to wash the towels but couldn't get the washing machine on and also noticed it was very wobbly.

The apartment is 3 flights up (on 3rd floor). I was not prepared for this as I had a large, heavy suitcase and several bags. I also suggest changing the entry process so that one does not have to synchronise one's arrival with a person to collect the keys. Arrange security access and install a lockbox. No air con for heating. Only a small bar heater. It would be nice be have proper heating in winter.

It was advertised with a pool so I booked there as I was there for a week. No access to pool. Poor communication on arrival could not find the unit in the complex. The TV did not work in the beginning and remotes had no batteries. There was 1 set of towels and one set of bedding. When thy were dirty I was told if I need another towel I must pay R350. So if you wash the one set then what do you dry with whilst they are wet???!? I bought my own towels for R350 which I took home. Shocking response from managing company. I set of sheets for 1 week! For the money I paid was bad. No remote for pool area only owners with their fingerprint. Then don’t advertise a pool.
