Great location - in the middle of Coniston, Ambleside and 15 minutes from Grizedale forest. Very quiet property, lovely grounds to walk the dog and walks from the doorstep to tarn Hows.
The apartment had everything we needed. We especially loved the cosy fire and armchairs after some soggy days walking.

Location amazing and beautiful grounds, great staff
Rooms were a bit chilly even when we the turned radiators up, didn’t seem to have a separate thermostat/ timer to allow you to control the temperature, this was in mid September but it was a very wet cool weekend.

Could have done with a better selection of crockery and glasses in the kitchen.
