PRIVATE SPACE Just you and the Birds with PRIVATE INFINITY POOL

This place was absolutely incredible. Wonderful property and highly recommended. Super private. Divinia is such a charm and beautiful soul . The pool was well maintained and clean. Many animals and birds came to visit. And privacy was respected. I really appreciated my time and 100% recommendation to others. Great price for budget travelers looking for a private luxury space at an amazing price. Divinia is really passionate about the property. She was lovely to connect to and she also respected our privacy. It felt like a slice of paradise. We came here to connect to nature and enjoy solitude and that was achieved, very peaceful.

A solid 10/10 stay at this beautiful hidden gem in Uvita. Quiet, well maintained and set up with a personal touch and all amenities that are needed. This was the best place we stayed in all of Costa Rica.

The house and our adjoining apartment was lovely and clean and the infinity pool and views were great

The lady who owns the property recommended her trusted taxi driver, who is the only one she uses, as we didn't have a car. Unfortunately he didn't come to collect us so we had to get an uber. (granted not her fault). We messaged each other as she wanted to know when we would be arriving and I thought we would be later than 3pm,(check in time). When we arrived at exactly 3pm I messaged her to say "we are here" and she saw it as the ticks changed to blue, and I rang twice but the gate remained locked and we assumed she was out.We had to sit on the ground in the full sun with our bags and groceries for half an hour until she came from the house and let us in saying ," oh you said you would be late". Not the best start! We were shown our nice apartment and the lady within this ten minute chat told us how unsafe Uvita was and said that,I quote "you will be mugged by the ticas" and went to describe how 'they' tie you up with cable ties and gag you with gaffa tape! This was our our last place we were staying in the month of being in costa rica and we have never really felt uncomfortable or afraid or unsafe and the locals wherever we have stayed have always been friendly and very approachable, so this from our host here was quite shocking. This really upset me and that night I felt quite anxious and I didn't sleep well that night. This was not helped by the blinds not shutting on the big patio doors next to our bed. As well as this the fridge was extremely noisy and kept waking us up throughout the night and the lack of a thin blanket with our sheets meant we were cold with air conditioning on. I asked the next morning for a blanket and to do some washing but was told the washer was broken and she didn't have a blanket but didn't offer an alternative like more sheets or towels.
