Perranporth Golf Club Self-Catering Holiday Accommodation

The caravan was spacious and clean, and the staff were excellent. Location was both good and bad (although we were aware of this in advance). You could walk across golf course to town in 15 mins however we always felt like we were intruding on the golfers by walking across the course even though following the path. The decking was great BUT no furniture for it meaning we had to take camping chairs with us that took up packing space in boot of car. How difficult would it be to supply some basic white plastic chairs and a table. Incredibly quiet place and all in all would recommend it if aware of the slight drawbacks as stated.

As stated above, walking over the course felt a bit intrusive on the golfers and no furniture for the decking is odd - it costs nect to nothing for cheap patio furniture and how hard can it be to erect a storage shed to house it over winter?

Accommodation was clean, tidy, had all the kitchen wear needed, bedding and towels provided, decent wifi. As it's located on the golf course, we didn't have many neighbours, so it was lovely and quiet. Exactly what we wanted - a good rest! :) We had a really nice holiday there. There was a launderette with a free washing machine to use for the residents, however tumble dryer had a charge. Caravan did not have a hair dryer, but luckily we brough our own and could share across 3 girls. A short walk away there was a golf country club, with a really nice atmosphere, overlooking the sea. We did enjoyed a few drinks there. Overall it was a good holiday and we would come back.

As caravans are located on the golf course, there was no direct access to the sea... There were a few paths across the golf course, but they start and finish randomly, so we found it confusing, and it wasn't ideal for walking the dog properly. A resident only path across the sand Junes and golf course that would have a direct access to the sea would have been preferred. Having to walk out to the road, and around the town to get to the sea was a very long walk. Alternative was 5 min drive down, but as we wanted to have a few drinks, car wasn't really an option...

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views and only a short walk to the beach. Superb beach, plenty to explore, lovely sandy beach with a pub on site. The Watering Hole was fab. Laundry facilities very close by and washing machine was free, £1 for the tumble drier but a line supplied next to the lodge for drying. Great coffee machine with some pods included, plus teabags and milk to get you started. The nearest shop.was only a 5 minute drive down the hill.

Could have had a few more bits in the kitchen, like a pizza tray & slice, but on the whole moderately well stocked. The sofa in Lodge A could do with a bit of love. A few more pegs on the line might be helpful.

No access to walks without crossing the golf course, very exposed location, bed mattress uncomfortable
