Clean. Owners were very nice people. She doesn’t speak any English at all but her husband speaks a little English.
Pay fully in cash only. The address doesn’t match what she put on booking.com. Her and her husband came to collect me in their car after I went to the location sharing she sent which was wrong. Turned out to be about 20 mins walk from the coach drop off location. No restaurants in the streets near the property. Property on an uphill slope. Only have a convenience store next to her property. No Uber in Samana but I didn’t know that in advance.

The location was easy to find and the host was nice.
The apartment wasn't clean, there was a lot of dust inside and my daughter had 2 cockroaches in her room. The apartment I've rented was a 3 beds but I only got 2 rooms and my mum had to go to a shared apartment next door for her room. It was very noisy due to being too close to other properties with loud music and heavy traffic. I think the apartment is ok for single people but definitely not for families with children.
