About this house rental
Las Galeras is a little paradise—perhaps even the last one—in the Dominican Republic. Here, you can marvel at the Caribbean’s most beautiful beaches, with white sand and crystal-clear water.
La Casa Azul is in a quiet location, perfect for enjoying nature, the countryside, and the local people. It’s the perfect spot to unwind while still being close to the town center and various activities (e.g., boat tours, horseback riding on the beach, and much more). Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family, you’re sure to have a wonderful time here!
Our house is located in the beautiful Barrio de las Piedras neighborhood of Las Galeras. The neighborhood sits on a hill and offers a great view of the surrounding countryside and the ocean, which can be seen on the horizon. It’s a typical Dominican area and very quiet. Just 100 meters from the house is a farm with many different animals, such as cows, horses, and chickens.
It’s the perfect place to get to know the country and its people!

ATTENTION! The house has an outdoor staircase without a railing that leads to the roof, which is also unsecured. No liability is assumed.

Las Galeras is located in a very rural area. In a country like the Dominican Republic, there may be rare instances of brief power outages or water shortages. These are circumstances beyond our control as hosts. We assume no responsibility for these issues and will not reimburse any costs.

Distance to kiosk: 200 m
Distance to supermarket: 2 minutes by car/10 minutes on foot
Distance to town center: 5 minutes by car/15 minutes on foot
