This place is extremely exceptional. The lodge at which we stayed in provided us with clean, heated tap water. The bed had a mosquito net around it, and the staff supplied additional insect deterrent. The breakfast was top tier. The staff themselves were incredibly helpful and friendly. The place itself is connected to an extraordinary museum of the Maasai art of beading which we would also highly recommend to visit. In general, every staff member makes you feel like you are within the community, which is really an exceptional experience. We would really like to thank Beatrice and Eti for making this trip as inspirational and welcoming!
We stayed too short!

Staying at Eti’s homestay was truly one of the highlights of my trip. Eti is such a lovely person and genuinely goes out of her way to make sure her guests have the best possible experience. She helped organize everything for me, including safaris, Maasai village visits, and trekking with knowledgeable local guides. She even found other travelers so we could share the safari costs, and made sure I always paid fair local prices, even at nearby restaurants. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and there’s also the option of full board, which makes everything easy and stress-free. I especially appreciated that the property is sustainable, using solar energy and harvesting rainwater. It felt good to stay somewhere that cares about the environment and the local community. What makes this place even more special is its support for local women who create beautiful beadwork. I was happy to buy some lovely handmade souvenirs knowing they directly empower the women who made them. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, and truly felt more like a home than just a room. The bed was comfortable, there was hot water, and the desk was perfect for remote workers like me. The location is unbeatable, it’s the first hotel right next to the park gate, which makes early morning safaris incredibly convenient. I was genuinely sad to leave, but I already know I’ll be back. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.
I did not like leaving.

Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to the Maasai Mara. Eti and her team made us feel genuinely welcome and ensured that we left with unforgettable memories. We loved the fascinating museum tour, learning how to make a traditional bracelet, visiting a Maasai village with Mark, and spending the night in a beautiful selfconstructed cabin. Thanks to Eti’s strong connections within the Maasai community, everything was perfectly organized. She easily arranged an excellent guide, making our day in the Maasai Mara truly unforgettable. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast, the perfect start to the day. A special thank you to Lize, Beatrice and Massie for their warm hospitality and excellent care. Their kindness truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful experience close to nature.
