車利用でない人にとっては、なかなか簡単にはたどり着きにくいのが、逆に期待感が高まって凄く良い。
話し好きで人柄の良いオーナー夫婦と名物おじいちゃん・おばあちゃんがいる家族経営のアットホームなところ。
周りの自然が、田舎育ちの子供時代を思い出させてくれる山の中にある古民家の宿は、何度でも帰ってきたくなる。
一年を通じて宿で出される柔らかくて甘みのある若狭牛のほか、春には山菜、夏には鮎、秋にはキノコ、冬には蟹といろいろな食の楽しみがあるところ。
これからもどんどん良くなっていくと思うので、次回来訪するのが楽しみでしかない。
あと、京都の某有名ミシュラン三つ星料亭で修行された料理人が営む日本料理のお店が、こんな山の中にあること。いずれ予約困難なお店になるのでは…
まだオープンされて１年半少しということで、良くない点というより、こうあれば良いなあと思う点をいくつか…
ウエルカムドリンクは、飲み物だけでなく、ちょっとした地元のお茶菓子か、季節に合わせた旬の果実を出されると喜ばれるかな。
メニューに若狭牛を使った、すき焼き・しゃぶしゃぶがあるとレパートリーが増えていいと思います。
近くを散歩や古民家のなかで何もしないのもありですが、周りにきれいな川や広い道路があるので、レンタサイクルなどがあると、もっと楽しめそうです。

This small inn was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. The small size and attention from the hosts made us feel like we were staying in a Japanese home. The food was incredible! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and viewing the garden and walking through the small town nearby. And of course meeting the instagram famous grandfather was a treat!

おじいさんが敷き藁農法で作ったお米がとってもおいしかったです！もちろん奥様とご主人の手料理も、若狭肉もとてもおいしかったです！ご夫婦が気さくで、とにかく館内が美しくとても過ごしやすかったです。
枕が柔らかすぎて、硬い枕が好きな夫は、寝づらかったようです。
