Hotel Janakpur Inn

The staff was very friendly. They helped us organize a tour of the area. For a chaotic and untouristic city like Janakpur, this hotel was a good choice.

Breakfast could be better and more varied

Bon rapport qualité prix. L'hôtel est situé un peu a l'écart de la route principal donc c'est relativement silencieux Le personnel est très gentil et nous a beaucoup aidé avec les bus.

Énormément de moustiques de la chambre.. Il en rentrait sans arrêt dans la chambre..

Ottima struttura a Janakpur, non lontano dall’aeroporto e che permette di raggiungere in maniera agevole l’attrazione principale della città ovvero il Janaki Temple. Lo staff è estremamente gentile e parla un ottimo inglese. La struttura si trova arretrata rispetto alla via principale e vengono quindi attenuati i rumori del traffico e del mercato locale. Forniscono il transfer da e per l’aeroporto (mi pare fosse NPR 1.000 comprensivi di andata e ritorno). Un altro punto a favore della struttura è la possibilità di mangiare presso il loro ristorante interno (molto buono).

L’unica piccola pecca credo sia il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Sono stato presso molte strutture in Nepal con standard simili al Janakpur Inn e con prezzi decisamente inferiori, anche in città più turistiche come Kathmandu e Pokhara. Ma si tratta come di un prezzo decisamente accessibili a tutti i turisti occidentali.

Convenient- close to public transport,

The staff didn’t respond well to my queries. There was a lack of accountability. I reported that there was no hot water in my room, and the reception staff assured me that a maintenance person would come to fix it immediately. However, no one came to fix it. A couple of hours later, I went back to reception, and the staff tried to blame another employee for my issue. They said that I had reported to another staff member who didn’t do their job. I asked if the maintenance person could come and fix the hot water immediately so that I could take showers, but the staff didn’t respond to me and seemed reluctant to discuss the issue further. Finally, I decided to check out of the hotel, and no apologies, compensation or response were given.
