A stay at nanna’s place

If you want a retro stay this is it! Nothing has changed over decades and we thoroughly enjoyed this. Frau Wochniz is an absolute treasure - attentive and kind. We were the season’s first guests and enjoyed having the house and garden to ourselves. The garden leads to the Faaker See and the private jetty. Too cold for us for a swim but lovely to sit there and watch the sunset. Breakfast was more than adequate and the coffee … real, drinkable coffee! The property is in a great location for asst trips too such as to Lake Bled and Villacher Alpenstrasse. Whilst not 5 star by today’s standards, 5 stars for evoking lakeside holidays from the past.

Gut gelegene Pension mit Flair vergangener Zeit.

Die Pension liegt direkt am See mit Seezugang, Frühstück mit Melone und Prosciutto.

Uns wurde ein Zimmer ohne Balkon mit dem Ausblick auf den Parkplatz zugeteilt, obwohl auf der Buchungsbestätigung „Seeblick“ ausgewiesen war. Aufgrund meiner Reklamation erhielten wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon und seitlichem Seeblick, mussten allerdings für zwei Tage in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen. Die Pension ist in die „Jahre“ gekommen.

Alles „abgeranzt“! 60er - 70er Jahre Niveau. Dusche ohne Vorhang oder Kabine. Das Bad stand nach dem duschen immer unter Wasser! 🙈 man konnte das gar nicht verhindern!

Enttäuschung pur!!!

Es sollte ein schönes Geburtstagswochenende werden zum 65.!! Aber leider kam es ganz anders :-( Wir bekamen nicht das gebuchte Zimmer, nach langer Diskussion haben wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, allerdings immer noch ohne Seeblick. Zimmer war sehr klein, das Bad winzig, die Betten bretthart - ebenso die Handtücher, Möblierung aus den 70/80ern! Der gebuchte Seeblick war leider auch nicht vorhanden, stattdessen hatten wir Aussicht auf den Liegebereich des Nachbargrundstücks inkl. Beachbar die bis zwei Uhr morgens in Betrieb war. Der hoteleigene Seezugang samt Liegen und Sonnenschirme wurde auch an Tagesgäste gegen Gebühr vermietet, hier konnten auch noch private Liegen mitgebracht werden. Dies führte dazu, dass der gesamte Liegebereich überfüllt war. Frühstück war sehr übersichtlich, Butter mit abgelaufenem Verfallsdatum! Es gab Parkplätze, die wurden jedoch von den Badegästen blockiert, so dass wir als Hotelgäste keinen Parkplatz mehr zur Verfügung hatten. Wir könnten hier noch einiges anführen, das würde jedoch den Rahmen sprengen. Ach ja, WLAN ist auch so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Besitzerin sehr uneinsichtig und zum Schluss auch noch unfreundlich. Sie meinte wir wären die ersten Gäste - seit 30 Jahren - die sich beschweren würden. Die Google Bewertungen und auch andere Bewertungen sagen etwas anderes. Hier wurde schon vor Jahren über abgelaufene Butter, Schmutz, abgewohnte Möbel, überfüllten Badebereich usw. berichtet! Leider haben wir uns im Vorfeld nicht genügend informiert. Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist. Nach Reklamation über booking behauptet Frau Wochinz auch noch wir würden lügen und alles wäre bestens gewesen. Natürlich ist Frau Wochinz auch nicht bereit gewesen, uns hier wenigstens die nicht genutzte Nacht zu erstatten. Von dieser Unterkunft kann man nur abraten!!!

Zuvorkommend freundliche Gastgeberin

wurden freundlichst mit Begrüssungs- Getränk empfangen. Bekamen eigene Auflagen für die Liegen auf der Wiese....

Frühstück könnte etwas früher angesetzt werden oder Kaffee vor 8.00h zu holen. Matratze war etwas hart- doch Frau Wochinz fand gleich eine Lösung. Meine Tochter schlief gut. Jeder schläft gern anders... Kann ja nicht wissen wie s jedem beliebt bzw. gut tut.

im Großen und Ganzen ok.

Die Lage am See war einzigartig. Kurze Wege zum Strand. Zwei sehr gute Restaurants waren ganz nah (Griechisch, Italienisch). Parkplatz war am Haus. Frau Wochinz war sehr hilfsbereit, aber machtlos (WLAN).

Es gab keinen Zugang zum Internet. WLAN war nicht verfügbar. Eine Panne über zwei Wochen! Anstelle des gebuchten App., für 2 Personen mit Seeblick, gab es nur einen sehr eingeschränkten seitlichen Blick auf den See. Es war eigentlich alles da, aber schon manches sehr abgenutzt.
