Stay at The Canoby

Room, which is a cabin was clean and tidy. Comfortable and big bed where we slept really good. In the room was also a big fridge. In the shower was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Few towel racks the shower by the pool would be convenient. We got food poisoning from some food from the hotel kitchen. After closing reseption no one answers to the calls or text messages altough there was a number where to contact. Still no answer. Messages in Booking system was answered delayed. It was really hard to contact staff members. If you want to get to the beach of Krabi you have to take a taxi. Ride takes about 15 minutes.

Ok chalets but not worth the price point.

Pleasant tropical gardens. Large chalet style rooms which have a loft extra bedroom! Ok small pool. No sun loungers. More than 4 guests there, good luck

Very basic construction and structure. Thai beach bungalows really ie concrete floors and tables, prefabricated doors and windows etc No facilities, just bungalows in a pleasant garden. A shack sells (well priced) food but there isn’t s no restaurant. Back to one’s concrete floored room? At $90-100 pn it’s just not worth it.

Perfect stay for a family of 3

A family of three. Overall very pleased with the place and location (we had a scooter).

The upper bed was unpleasant to sleep on. Everything was damp every morning (all the clothes inside our room).

Nice for short stay

We like the space around the small cabins - the pool and the comune areas and also the breakfast.

Cold water - we asked if they can check it but no one came- I understand it’s hot outside but this water was literally freezing

Nice little pool

Staff is rude basically never available, rooms aren’t clean enough, the ladder to go on the mezzanine is VERY dangerous ( definitely not for families!). They also tried to scam us by asking additional money. Location is not particularly good unless you have a car ( we did)

Great location for a quieter few days in Krabi.

Nice out the way location with a short walk to everything you needed. We hired mopeds so we had the opportunity to explore more. Nice big clean rooms. Beautiful garden.

The upper floor is quite high. So if you have smaller children I wouldn’t recommend. But my 9 and 11 year old loved it.

Room was not cleaned daily. Breakfast menu is too confusing and they charged us extra. I recommend to not have breakfast at stay.

Has its faults, but all in all it’s a bargain!

Very well kept ground around the rooms. Smart TV with YouTube was a bonus.

Could be cleaner, and definitely need more furnishings in the rooms. Another night stand and reading lamp for the gallery could go a long way. The mattresses were exceptionally hard. The pool felt like it was way too chlorinated, which was a shame. The bathroom could definitely use remodeling. But for the price, who can really complain…

Fair price, clean rooms and lovely staff members

Clean and functional rooms with 2 double beds. The upper part is more suitable for children or agile adults. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night and close to some very reasonable local restaurants with delicious food. Also close to the local fresh food market, with hardly any tourists. 70 baht in a grab to the beach.

Some might find it a little out of town but for us, this was the charm.

Unfortunately, this was our second unpleasant experience at The Canopy in Krabi. Both times, we had live animals running around on the roof all night — whining, thumping, and making it nearly impossible to sleep. This time, the noise continued until 4am both nights… the place also stunk of pee.. We reported the issue to the lady at reception, but she seemed uninterested and took no action to resolve it. It’s extremely frustrating to pay for accommodation where you can’t even get a proper night’s rest, and even worse when the staff show no willingness to help. The room was also infested with ants .. This place could be great, but the lack of basic pest control and poor customer service really ruin the experience. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

Never again.

The room is spacious with a lot of potential. Howeve, there is little effort / thought put into the decor. There is also only a small place to hang/ put clothes.

The property is only manned 8 am to 6 pm. No one around before or after that time. This includes the mini bar. The daily fruit that was promised on my reservation does not exist. Towels are old and worn out, the kettle was broken (it was heating but didn’t switch off, and therefore making it dangerous - I burned myself and even a fire could happen ). The owner is rude and a “know- it-all”, and when you mention things he will tell you how he has been travelling everywhere and knows how things are (not!) It’s difficult to get anything (towels, sheets, any help) if you leave before 8 am in the morning to go out to beach or on trips and come back after 6 pm like most people do. So you need to be on the phone to message staff. There is overall little hospitality. To get food, you need a car or hire a taxi, the nearest beach is about 10 min too. The on-site pool is small although cute, with and adjacent canopy seating area but since there is no hospitality (staff, food/drinks) it’s literally useless. The best thing about this property is the cute entrance way and then it stops.

The property is clean, comfortable, pool is amazing and the facilities are great (lovely bar/restaurant by the pool which came in very handy and was affordable enough, plus the staff are lovely)

Just ok

The price is cheap for family room with 2 queen size bed.

The parking space still under construction. And the condition of the room design is very basic. Not even mirror/makeup table u have to use mirror in the bathroom.

A lovely and relaxing place, staff are willing to help and so friendly.

I loved how clean the rooms were, the lady who made our breakfast was amazing. so much effort a love being put into each meal. The staff was really friendly and always had a smile on their face.

The pool wasn't working, but they did compensate us with breafkast.

Overall, Yao Yai is beautiful, very calm, beautiful nature. Hotel is also beautifully blended into this nature, having a pool, access to beach; lovely decoration etc. I would highly recommend it

Hidden gem

Hidden gem! Staff were amazing and the rooms are so light and spacious! Fridge with water and fruit in upon arrival! Kettle with coffee too which was a nice touch. Out of the way but we loved this and still walked to the beach everyday. Would stay again.

Roligt sted med hjælpsomt personale

Vi var meget glade for beliggenheden, som lå i rolige omgivelser og stadig tilpas tæt på centrum. Vi endte med at bruge det meste af vores tid på værelset, da de fleste i vores familie var syge. Personalet var utroligt hjælpsomme og søde til at hjælpe under hele opholdet, bl.a. med at hjælpe med transport til læge. Vi fik også forlænget opholdet med en enkelt nat til en rigtig god pris. Vi kunne sagtens forestille os at booke her igen, hvis vi kommer tilbage - forhåbentlig uden sygdom næste gang.

Intet! Vær dog OBS på at lejlighederne ikke er så store - det er derfor et oplagt sted at bo, hvis man planlægger udflugter herfra.

Es gab einen kleinen Pool, die Zimmer waren sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal war nett.

Die Bilder waren viel ansprechender und stilvoller, als die Realität. Zum Frühstück erhielt ich statt einen Tee eine Büchse Eistee, Essen und Trinken waren generell einfach, nicht so, wir auf den Bildern. Es gab keinen Ort, um einfach gemütlich zu entspannen und zu Sein. Beim Pool gab es 2 Tische und einen Bank, mit etwas heruntergrkommenen Kissen.

La literie est horrible : matelas très très très dur et oreiller également. Notre lit ne ressemblait pas du tout à un lit c’était du fer et des planches de bois Le logement : seulement 2 chaises alors que c’est une chambre pour 4. Pas de terrasses ou coin personnel extérieur La salle de bain est mal odorante et reste humide La piscine est en fait un bac mais pour le coup je l’avais lu dans les commentaires Le coin repos à côté de la piscine était sale et les coussins vétustes L’hôtel se dit « chic » ça ne l’est pas du tout. Tout est « cache misère »

De accommodatie vile in werkelijkheid tegen tov de foto's, Het zwembad was klein, zonder mogelijkheden om bij het zwembad te zitten. Daarnaast was het ver buiten het centrum (drie km). Om na 16 uur niet meer mogelijk om iets te eten of drinken te bestellen. na 18 uur iemand meer aanwezig.

Ungepflegt, unhygienisch und enttäuschend – wir reisten frühzeitig ab und empfehlen das Hotel nicht weiter.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von unserem Aufenthalt. Die Ausstattung ist stark abgenutzt und entspricht in keiner Weise den Bildern, die online präsentiert werden. Die gesamte Anlage wirkt ungepflegt. Besonders schockierend war der Schimmel in dem Kasten, in dem Gläser und Besteck aufbewahrt werden – absolut unhygienisch! Im Badezimmer herrschte zudem ein unerträglicher Abflussgeruch. Wir haben uns letztlich ein anderes Hotel gesucht, da ein längerer Aufenthalt für uns nicht tragbar war, obwohl ursprünglich zwei Nächte geplant waren. Wir hätten die Information gerne direkt mit dem Hotel besprochen, aber die Rezeption war zu den angegebenen Öffnungszeiten nicht besetzt. Leider können wir dieses Hotel in keiner Weise weiterempfehlen.

Buena estancia para unos dias si tu idea no es ir a Ao nang beach caminando

La habitación era muy grande, olía bien y la sabanas eran gustosas. La piscina y el entorno muy agradable. Perfecto para pasar tiempo en el. Tenia un pequeño bar para comprar alguna cosa y nos prestaron un paraguas.

Goede prijs-kwaliteit

Je hebt je eigen huisje met voordeur, erg leuk ingericht ook. Locatie is dichtbij de grote weg in Ao Nang, binnen 40 min wandelen ben je helemaal onderaan bij het strand. Alles was schoon en airco werkte goed. Koelkast/vriezer was fijn om te hebben.

De wifi in de accommodatie was waardeloos, je kunt er niet eens mee op Whatsapp. Daarom hebben we 5 dagen mobiele data moeten gebruiken, misschien komt dit omdat we aan de rand van het park zaten. Netflix stond geïnstalleerd op de tv, maar die deed het niet. Na meermaals proberen nog steeds niet, dus verheug je niet te veel op de Netflix :)
