Apartment Clos du Chantey Moury by Interhome

The views of Mont Blanc from the small, hedge-enclosed garden are spectacular! Having stayed many places that advertise a garden and then have none, we were very pleasantly surprised to enjoy this one. We liked the generous amount of light that came into the main room.

Let’s start off with the first three days without hot water, for which no refund has been made and no help provided by Booking.com despite many messages. The location is noisy as it is on a busy road with diesel fumes coming into the garden. We didn’t like the fact that several things were omitted from the property listing until after we booked. The agency office is located in Chamonix, not Argentiere, which was not convenient as we did not have a car. We didn’t know that we would have to pay for sheets and towels and then have to lug them to the apartment via a bus and walking. The cost for linens and local tax was nearly an additional $100, not stated in advance.

La loc est super sympa, bien équipée. C'est un peu années 80 mais fonctionnel. Il y a une grande terrasse. La vue est pas mal, et c'est super calme.

S'il y a des êtres humains à l'agence Interhome de Chamonix, il serait appréciable qu'ils prennent les appels téléphoniques. J'ai appelé au moins 20 fois sur la route pour savoir comment j'allais récupérer les clés. Le parking en sous sol de la résidence : pour info pour les futurs locataires, le parking de l'appartement 1 est le box fermé en face de l'entrée. Il n'y a rien d'indiqué, il faut deviner. Et info No 2, il a été conçu a l'époque où tout le monde roulait en Mini ou en Fiat 500. Si vous avez un SUV, n'essayez même pas, allez vous garer sur le parking de l'autre côté de la rue. Dernière chose : les matelas ne sont pas terribles.

Manque un micro ondes et retrouvé des poils ou cheveux de femmes sur les couettes.. et préciser qu’il y a une Nespresso pour le café sur l’annonce.
