Appartement Cosy

Hôte très accueillante, et qui nous a permis d’arriver plus tôt que l’heure prévu… L’appartement est propre, fonctionnel et avec des places de parking dans la rue (1€ pour 4h).

L’odeur du bâtiment, et trop de vis-à-vis sur la terrasse. Mais vite oublié au vu de l’appartement.

Apartment is located very close to the train station (about 7-10 min by foot) - convenient if you have to take an early train. Wifi worked well. Bedsheets seemed clean.

What to even start with? This place has several serious problems, and we were very surprised to see that none of them were mentioned in the reviews. First of all, mold. MOLD. The kind of mold that is hidden in the walls, under the floor, and whose sweet and slightly fishy stench permeates everything - your clothes, your backpack, everything! When we checked in and opened the door, we were met with this smell, but what was more disgusting was this dark brown liquid oozing from the gap in the warped floorboards. The wall next to the bathroom has visible mold growing inside it. Which is not a surprise, given the fact that you cannot properly ventilate this apartment - you can only open the doors that lead to the courtyard, which may (as it did in our case) bring in an additional smell of sewage. You can of course open the entrance door (that leads to the main hallway of the building), but I would not recommend it unless you fancy a thick smell of cigarettes. There was no duvet or comforter or anything like this on the bed or anywhere in the apartment. Of course, it is summer, but during the last night of our stay temperatures dropped, and sleeping under only one thin bedsheet was not very comfortable. I sent a message to the host but never received any reply.
