Chata Viktória

Its a very welcoming mountain cabin that fits seven people. The design is very pleasant, everything fits perfectly. Kitchen was well equipped, with a large table. It was warm, even though there were less then -10C outside. The bathroom was big enough, comfortable. The beds and bedlinen were confortable. Sound proof (there is a stream near the house, but you couldn’t hear it inside). Access is easy enough, you have to do about 100 meters from the main road, on a secondary smaller road (we had snowfall during our stay, and it was cleared promptly), in exchange you are not near the main road, and more in the middle of nature. Large parking close to the house. Bus stop about 6 minutes walk from the house in ski boots (about 200 meters). 2-3 km distance from Luchky chairlifts. The host is a charming young lady, very helpful and responsive. I would surely go back anytime again.

I missed a real oven. Nothing else.

The facility was great! Very cosy and comfortable. Nice living room with a sofa, couch, table and a TV - great to relax and unwind after a day of skiing. Kitchen hand plenty of pans/pots, utensils and plates to serve seven people. The dishwasher was also a great feature as it saved time and energy. Bathroom was also very nice and clean - with two sinks. It was great that there were 7 separate beds and there was no need for anyone to sleep on the sofa. The double beds can be split into two separate beds. What’s more there were plenty of additional blankets both inside and outside the house for use if anyone feels cold. Overall highly recommend this place!

For the value this facility is great and we liked everything very much. A few considerations you might want to take in: 1. The kitchen is fairly small and if you’re staying with 7 people it might take some time for everyone to cook their meals. 2. Since there’s only one shower/toilet there might be some queues / waiting time with 7 people. 3. The kitchen doesn’t have an oven however that was not really a problem for us.
