We recently stayed at an apartment in Palio, Greece, and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the apartment was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for 4 people to spread out, which was a definite plus for all of us. Its location was also excellent, providing easy access to the local attractions and the beach. A huge bonus for our friends was that the apartment was pet-friendly, making it a perfect spot for them and their dog – something we really appreciated. Another highlight was the renovated bathroom, which felt modern and clean. Overall, while the apartment offered good space, a great location, and crucially, pet-friendliness for our friends and their dog, the dated furniture, lack of maintenance, and uninviting outdoor spaces were significant drawbacks. With some updates and a good deep clean, this apartment has the potential to be a fantastic stay.

However, there were several areas where the apartment fell short. While spacious, most of the furniture felt quite old and dated, which detracted from the overall aesthetic. We also noticed that the apartment was not particularly well-maintained; little things here and there seemed neglected. It was relatively clean, but not sparkling, leaving a bit to be desired in terms of true cleanliness. The sofas in the living area were noticeably worn, and the kitchen was quite old, lacking modern amenities like an espresso machine, which would have been a nice touch.
