A Chic 2BR Apt Near Melbourne CBD w FREE Parking

Location is excellent. Free parking was excellent.

When I booked it was because it said there were two beds in each room. There was only a double bed in each room. This was a pretty big issue for the size of our group so we had to make some other arrangements to accommodate everyone. The tables and other surfaces had not been cleaned- we wiped everything down. I was very happy with most other aspects of the apartment though.

The unit was very comfortable & very well set up. The kitchen was the best supplied of any I have stayed at. We used & enjoyed the gym, pool & sauna & found them great. The location was right in the middle of the city & within walking distance to our son's student accommodation, great restaurants, cafes & shopping. I was able to work in one of the bedrooms while my husband relaxed in the living area, watched tv, etc without disturbing each other. The view was fantastic - we watched hot air balloons fly through sunrise over the city on Saturday morning. The free parking was a huge bonus for us.

The only downside was that the apartment was quite warm, particularly on days over 25C, the glass lets in lots of sun & the air conditioning unit wasn't able to bring the temperature down enough, particularly in the bedrooms.

I had to email on the day of check in to ask how to collect the keys. I had indicated that I would like early check in and it was denied but there was no suggestion or offer luggage storage even though the venue (separate to the apartment) offered storage)

I was of the understanding that gym access was included, however access to the floor the gym was on had “denied access” and when I emailed to query I was told “we’ll get back to you” but heard nothing more.
