JV Luxury Apartment Acropolis

The apartment was in a good locations, stocked with all necessities we’d need. The bathroom was clean and the apartment was nice. Volodymyr aaa also very very helpful and prompt with his responses.

The shower took a while to heat up. We did know this beforehand as this was informed to us so it really was a minor thing. However I think the only issue we really had was that the lock was a bit tricky. Again not a major and we contacted Volodymyr and he responded immediately and provided us with with a WhatsApp number to contact Jim quickly.

The bathroom was large and the shower was powerful. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was really quiet, you didn't even notice it was there. The instructions to get into the apartment were clear, although there was an error with the booking.com directions. When booking the taxi, we typed in JV Luxury apartment in the freenow taxi app and it brought us to the correct location. When we were dropped off we couldn't immediately see the apartment entrance, so I used the get directions button in booking.com and used open in google maps at the bottom. But that showed the apartment as being 9 minutes walk away. Location itself was good with many restaurants and shops only a short walk away, metro few minutes walk and acropolis within easy walking distance.

1. Noise, fortunately although the apartment building was on the main road, the unit was at the back of the building so there was no traffic noise. However, right next door there is a music venue, and the music continued until 3am in the morning. Not really loud but you could hear it from the bed and it was louder in the bathroom. 2. There were no instructions how to use the washing machine and cooker. In the case of the washing machine, when we first tried to turn it on, no water came through. When asking the host, we only got a Greek English translation of the functions knob. Normally when we stay in apartments, all the manuals for appliances will be available on the table or in a drawer. 3. We stayed for 4 nights, the nespresso machine came with only 5 pods. Not sure if they are normally not provided and these were extra from the previous guest or this is all we were given. There was also only 1 teabag provided. 4. The window faces an inner courtyard so it can be quite dark requiring lights during the day. 5. Host communication was very limited, what time are you arriving, what time are you leaving. Not hope you had a good stay.
