Enjoy the many amenities of the Galena Territory- community indoor year round pool, gym, and seasonal outdoor pools. Lake Galena is a scenic lake, great for fishing and boating (not swimming). Kayaks and pontoons can be rented from the Galena Territory. Also a beautiful waterfall (10-15 min drive), riding stables and more! Downtown Galena is really special- amazing shops, restaurants, wine tasting, historic sites, Haunted Tours, Trolly Tours, and more. Chestnut Mountain is about 25 min drive away, for skiing, zip lining and more.
Dogs are welcome if well behaved. Extra pet fee will apply.

Please note, the property is surrounded by woods, so there are insects outside and occasionally inside.
Amazing nearby attractions, including golfing, wineries, fishing, hiking, horse stables and more. Downtown Galena is approximately at 10 minute drive, and has trolley tours, haunted ghost tours, fabulous restaurants and shopping and more.
You will have the entire house other than small locked owners closets.
We are family owned home. We will share our cell phone upon booking in case issues arise.
This home is in the Galena Territory- it's surrounded by wooded areas, trails, and community amenities.
There isn't easy public transportation so you will need a car. Uber is only sometimes available.
There is plenty of parking.
Video doorbell with camera and audio in front of house with view of front of house/driveway.
We provide firewood. You may need to bring kindling wood/cardboard, although we try to provide when able.
We do not give refunds due to weather. We strongly encourage everyone to buy travel insurance.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and would give this home 5 stars if we could! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless—truly one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in—and it was clear the owners take great pride in maintaining it.It was fully equipped with everything our family needed and more. From the kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches throughout the home, we never found ourselves missing anything. It made traveling with our family so easy and comfortable.The property itself is incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We loved the quiet setting and felt like we had our own little getaway.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay!

This house is beautiful and clean! We stayed for three nights with our adult children and their significant others (8 of us total). It is clear that the host has put a lot of thought into making this home beautiful, comfortable and accommodating for people of all ages. Our children like to stay busy so the pool table, the card table, the ping pong table, and the hot tub were big hits with us. We also enjoyed the “hidden” room, we were all able to relax in there comfortably and watch a movie. I would recommend this home to anyone!

I would give this rental even more stars if I could! This house has it all..so many things to do. It was perfect for our family - truly outstanding. A huge thank you to the most thoughtful and helpful host Beth!

The house was perfect for our family to meet up and stay over Christmas. Beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Game room and hot tub were a hit with everyone. And that hidden room blew the kids minds! Everything we could need and more was provided. We literally would not have had to leave for any reason, but the club house added another level of fun for all and we did enjoy Galena. The host, Beth, was available and accommodating. Highly recommend!
