We loved how large the spaces were for our family to gather - a large table in the kitchen for games, large couches so we could all watch TV together, a large sunroom to enjoy coffee and reading in the morning. We also loved the hot tub and pool table at the end of the day - just another set of things we could do to relax and be together. This is our third time in Galena and my kids said it was the best space we’ve had.

Overall, good. A few maintenance issues.

A wonderful retreat for a girls weekend away! Six of us were comfortable and enjoyed the spacious living area for meals and games. The house and hot tub were clean and ready to use. It was a nice quiet place to recharge after exploring town.

Our family (grown children) enjoyed staying at Shagbark! The kitchen was large enough for everyone to work in, there was plenty of seating for meals and gathering; the living room had two comfortable couches and plenty of space; the basement rec room area (pool and game table) was awesome, and the 6-person spa was a big hit! Brian was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes & utensils, and having 4 bathrooms was really great, too. Thank you!
