Oakmont Lodge is 1 mile from the GTA Owners Club and a 7 mile drive to downtown Galena. This home is dog-friendly, with a max of two dogs w/a pet fee. This home offers 6 proximity cards.

From the moment you step inside, you’ll love the soaring ceilings, warm wood accents, and inviting ski-chalet feel that make this home the perfect Galena getaway. Sit back and relax in front of the fire or enjoy our 55" Smart TV. The living room is open to the dining room and kitchen. Our kitchen is stocked and ready for you to entertain. The refrigerator with ice maker, large gas stove and huge 3 sink, will make prepping and cooking a breeze. Note, our oven is on the smaller side so plan accordingly. Enjoy your coffee by using our Keurig or regular coffee maker. Our dining room table seats 12 people for meals, games and easy conversation. Next step into the game room and find another amazing spot for everyone to be together. You will find a pool table, seating, flat screen TV, arcade game & wooded views of the outdoors. Step to the rear of the main level and you will enjoy the private and quiet Master bedroom space. A king bed with two closets and access to the en suite bathroom is an inviting retreat. The recently remodeled Master bath features a garden jacuzzi tub, double sinks and double showers, one being a rain shower. Relax and enjoy! You will have access to the backyard, where you will find comfortable seating and a large outdoor hot tub that is available for use year-round, along with a small rock fire pit. When you head upstairs to the second level you will find 4 large bedrooms that feature en suite bathrooms. Three of the 4 bedrooms have King beds and one has 2 Queen beds, so absolutely everyone in the group can sleep in a bed. Every bedroom has its own flat-screen TV. There is plenty of room to bring sleeping bags or air mattresses if you wish but we cannot sleep more than 12 people overnight. Please note guests do have access to the 3 car garage at this home. There is an additional refrigerator in the garage for overflow beverages, etc. Pet-friendly homes do require a $150 pet fee.

The Club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pools, a kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, free WiFi, and outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena and The Shenandoah Riding Center. Disclaimer: This home provides 6 proximity cards for amenity access. Guest passes can be purchased for just $5 a day at the GTA admin office or pool entrance. Staying with us grants you access, it may not be free. Please remember usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not discount or refund due to their closure.
When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days before check-in. If you cancel before the 14 days, you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14-day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file when booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts. Please NOTE: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking. We ask that this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receipt to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking. Our cancellation policy is NOT flexible; we highly recommend travel insurance. Travel insurance is offered at the time of booking and up until 15 days before check-in. The provider is CSA.

We had a wonderful stay here with our family and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing, which made settling in easy and stress-free. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy our time together.One of the highlights of our stay was how comfortable the beds were—we all slept very well each night, which made a big difference, especially after long days. The home had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable.The host was responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and straightforward, which we really appreciated.The kitchen was well-equipped and made it convenient for us to prepare meals as a family. One small suggestion would be to include foil in the kitchen, as that would be a helpful addition for future guests.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend this place to others. We would gladly stay here again on a future visit. Thank you for providing such a comfortable and welcoming place for our family!

This is a wonderful house perfect for a multifamily gathering. The large dining table seated 10 comfortably. A spacious game room kept the young ones busy when they weren’t playing outside. A fireplace for the cooler evenings and an outdoor fire pit for the warmer nights when s’mores were in order. A three car garage is available with a step free entrance to the home for those who might have difficulty navigating the two steps at the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay.

This was perfect for what we were looking for!Traveling with elderly parents and adult children. Having a main floor bedroom was a plus.The shuffleboard, pool table and video arcade games hit the something for everyone category. Kitchen was stocked better than we imagined, holding more pans than expected and allowing us to not use the ones we brought. Communication was timely and I never felt that I couldn't reach out if needed.We hope to visit again!

House was chosen for accommodation while attending my daughter’s wedding in Apple River, IL.
Top priority was pet friendly (dog was in the wedding), second priority was each bedroom had a bathroom and last was the game room, hot tub and fire pit.
Front/side garden beds definitely needed some cleaning. Lots of weeds.
Outdoor amenities were not used since the hot tub had stuff floating in the water when we opened the top and ants were crawling up the side of it. Did not use the outdoor fire pit because of all of the debris in the gutters(no hose in sight). I have photos of everything.
Interior was clean but worn. Two bathroom mirrors had black spots across them. Ceiling fan in one bedroom was shut off due to noise and shaking. Floors upstairs were uneven and had slid under our feet near the stairs. Top of stairs had an area where it would be very easy to fall (I have photo) Rug in main room curled at the edges and presented trip hazards. No curtains or blinds on windows so no privacy on first floor main area. Master bathroom has no real privacy due to game room door (has curtain but that’s ideal). Glass doors on bathroom have no privacy panel.
Disappointed because we really wanted to enjoy the house.
