About this apartment rental
This vacation rental in the “Alte Meierei” is one of two vacation rentals. It is on the first floor, measures approximately 90 square meters, and is designed to accommodate four people.
The accommodation
You enter the apartment directly into the living area. This approximately 50-square-meter room with its high ceilings features an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area as well as a cozy seating area. A fireplace adds to the relaxing atmosphere. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.80 m), and the other bedroom features a cozy bunk-style double bed (1.60 m). The apartment has a bathroom with a shower. Pets are not allowed in this vacation rental. Bed linens and towels are provided. Apartment 2 Loft has Wi-Fi and a TV. Laundry can be done in a shared laundry room upon request.
Guest access
All our guests have access to a beach area on Lake Plön and a barbecue area. The water is perfect for swimming in the summer. We have a floating island in the lake for our guests—from there, you can simply dive into the water or enjoy a picnic in the evening sun. Vacations just like in Bullerbü.
We are an active agricultural and forestry operation that has been family-owned for over 250 years. In addition to a professional riding stable with wonderful horses, the estate also features a small pony farm. If you’re interested, you can sign up in advance to take riding lessons during your stay. We’d be happy to forward any inquiries.
The Nehmten estate is located in a protected landscape area and offers many unspoiled spots right on Lake Plön. Here you can encounter many different species of wildlife. In the forest, you’ll come across fallow deer and roe deer, or you might even spot a white-tailed eagle, which has its nest right here on our property. If you’d like, you can take wonderful walks or bike rides around Lake Plön. In addition, you can purchase a fishing license nearby and catch your own fish for lunch. The nearest golf course is just 15 minutes away. Nehmten is so “centrally” located that you can also take many sightseeing trips from here—for example, to Lübeck, Eutin, Preetz, or Hamburg. A day trip to the sea is also only about a 35-minute drive away.
