About this house rental
Enjoy your getaway in our charming brick house (150 m², built in 1890) near Lake Plön. Open-concept living/dining/kitchen area with a fireplace and underfloor heating. Two large bedrooms plus additional sleeping areas on an open loft and in the living room. Two bathrooms, a guest restroom, and a workspace. Large, covered sun terrace. 1,000 m² garden (southwest-facing) with a hot tub, fire pit, playground, and terrace by the pond. Just 800 m from the swimming area on Lake Großer Plöner See—ideal for families, active vacationers, and those seeking relaxation.
I actively use the house as my primary residence. Since I’m often away, I’ve optimized everything for vacation rentals. So you’re not booking a chaotic private home, nor are you booking sterile, lifeless rooms.
First floor:

🛋️ Spacious living and dining area with a cozy sofa arrangement, fireplace, smart TV (Netflix, Amazon), dining space for up to 8 people, and direct access to the sun terrace.
🍳 Open, fully equipped kitchen with a large kitchen island and access to the garden—ideal for cooking together.
🛏️ Bedroom 1: King-size box-spring bed (180x200 cm) and en suite bathroom.
🛁 Modern Bathroom 1 with a bathtub, walk-in shower, window, and washing machine. Towels, hair dryer, and toiletries included.
Upper floor:
💻 Open loft with stylish wooden framework, height-adjustable workstation (including monitor), and sleeper sofa (120x200 cm).
🛏️ Bedroom 2: Two single beds (90x200 cm) plus an additional sleeper chair (80x200 cm).
🚿 Bathroom 2 with shower—modern and comfortable.
Outdoor area:
🌞 Large southwest-facing garden (1,000 m²) with plenty of space to relax and play.
🧒 Play area with an XXL sandbox (approx. 20 m²), swing, slide, soccer goal, and ground-level trampoline—a paradise for kids!
🍽️ Covered sun terrace (approx. 40 m²) with a glass roof, grill, dining area, and cozy lounge furniture.
🔥 Backyard with a breakfast terrace by the stream and pond, a large fire pit, and a wood-fired hot tub—firewood included for soothing relaxation under the open sky.
