About this house rental
Don't miss this new Special Properties Vacation Rental. This jewel of a carriage house is part of a 2 home prestigious estate sitting on 5 acres of lakefront property. The carriage house packs a lot of punch with 7 bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms, gaming area and tons of open space and privacy. The property features three levels of living space to meet the needs of a larger group. Main floor features three bedrooms all with private bathrooms, eat in kitchen with SubZero appliances, a small sitting area and a large screened in porch with partial lake views. The lower level walk out also has three bedrooms with large shared bathroom, larger sitting area, pool table and commercial grade laundry facilities. The covered walk out is perfect for relaxing and outdoor eating. The third floor features its own private bedroom and bathroom. The house has been newly appointed with fine furnishings, mattresses, and linens to give the feel of a luxury hotel. Outside the 5 acre estate is peppered with towering pines and hardwood trees as well as loads of open green space. One will never feel crowded at Serendipity.
The carriage house sits farther back from the lakefront than the main house and is about 150 yards to the dock. At the lakefront, one is immediately greeted by one of the largest shoreline properties in all of Green Lake with over 325 feet. Guests are allowed to to use the elegantly furnished wood paneled boathouse for unbelievable water views. The terraced landscape also provides unmatched views. The owner provides numerous water toys for complete enjoyment of the lake. The massive pier features multiple fingers to accommodate all boats with deep water swimming off the end. There is simply no match anywhere to found on the lake at this price point. Perfect for golf groups that want some lake activities as well.

We had a lovely stay at this scenic, waterfront property. The location is absolutely gorgeous—quiet, peaceful, and with easy access to the water. The grounds are very well maintained, the house was clean, and the furnishings were tasteful and high quality. It’s a great setup for families, with thoughtful use of space and amenities like outdoor seating and a fire pit that really added to the experience. The water pressure was excellent, and we appreciated the supply of towels, laundry soap, and even condiments.A few things to note for future guests: while the kitchen was well-stocked with mugs and glassware, there was a surprising lack of everyday dinnerware, which made meals a bit more complicated than they needed to be. Also, the property description was initially confusing—it’s a coach house rather than a standalone home—so take the time to understand the layout, especially if that matters for your group (it wasn’t an issue for us).One drawback was the expectation to bring basics like hand soap and toilet paper, especially at this price point. For the cost, it seems fair to expect those essentials to be fully provided, along with clear info about the coffee setup in advance.Our only real discomfort came when the owner visited on Father’s Day morning to ask about an early checkout and confronted us (incorrectly) about using his rowing boat. It felt awkward and unnecessary.Overall, a lovely property in a fantastic setting—just a few notes to make it perfect.

We had great time, and the location is perfect for family gathering. Gorgeous property and awesome pier for some family swimming / fishing. Property also looked like was recently remodeled with great finish. We are sharing with others and could be back in future.
