Dream Surf House Santa Teresa (Playa Hermosa)

Doppelzimmer war sehr schön. Man kann zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten mit dem Surfboard an den nahegelegenen Strand laufen.

Ein Pool wäre schön bei dem Klima. Bei Stromausfall funktionierten die Trinkwasserspender nicht. Kein Kühlschrank für Gäste zur Verfügung.

This is an amazing surf camp (or place to stay)! The facilities and common area is beautifully designed and invites you to hangout, the food is sooo delicious and I loved the joint dinner opportunity which feels like eating with family. And there is a great place to practice yoga or join the daily yoga classes in the evening. While I originally didn’t come to surf, I took some private lessens and the teachers where very patient and you could tell their experiences in teaching as well as surfing 🏄 The volunteers as well as Marta, the Manager (with her lovely dog) where always super friendly, welcoming and helpful! 💕 The location is wow, a 5min walk from the camp through the jungle where you can see monkeys will lead you to a marvellous beach 🏝️, which is still free from restaurants, bars or sun chairs. Loved it! While they informed me about constructions nearby after booking which made we worry a bit, those where totally fine as you are out on the water/ beach most of the time and they also compensate with trip opportunities or joint activities on the beach - don’t worry, Pura Vida!

Price wise probably rather to the expensive side, but definitely worth it!!

My stay was absolutely amazing – I even ended up extending twice because I just didn’t want to leave :) The manager, volunteers and staff do a great job making sure everything runs smoothly and that you always feel welcome. Good vibes every single day, and full of positive energy. Whether it’s surfing, joining the activities, or just chilling, you instantly feel like part of one big family. And its also easy to have some time for your own whenever you want to, super relaxed. For me, it’s hands down one of the best places to surf, especially with Jefferson (best coach), to have fun, and meet incredible people from all over the world. I’ll definitely be back!

Friendly staff, great location and well designed property. The volunteers make sure to create a nice atmosphere.

There is a big construction going right next door that makes a lot of noise during the day, very loud and annoying, plus the workers. I went there to surf and relax but this was impossible during the day. The hostel sent an email after the booking was confirmed saying "noise levels will be moderate", which is incorrect, as the noise levels are not moderate at all. The problem is that there is no mention of the construction (that seems to have started a while ago) on the listing, and that they only inform you after the booking has been done. I only found out once I arrived as I did not see the email beforehand (through booking website). Other than that, the dorm is very small for 6 people, the wooden bunk beds are pretty uncomfortable, no place to store your stuff and no A/C. There is no kitchen and if you want to eat it's 25$ for a family dinner. Everything is overpriced my opinion. They should at least lower their prices during the construction and include this important detail in the listing.
