Apartment with a Nile View, Cairo, Maadi- شقه مطله بالكامل على النيل مباشره

The apartment was very spacious and had a beautiful Nile view. The TV worked well, and overall most of the facilities were fine. The WiFi connection was good in most areas, and the AC worked, especially becoming cooler at night. The staff were very lovely and helpful—when we mentioned the AC, they immediately sent someone to check it.

The cleanliness was very poor—there was dust everywhere, including behind the couch, under the table, and behind the nightstands, which clearly shows that a deep clean had not been done. In one of the rooms, the bed sheets appeared to be used and had hair on them, which was unacceptable. Some of the dishes were broken and still kept in the apartment (for example, a cup with a chipped rim). The cupboards were full of items and junk, so we couldn’t properly use them. The WiFi did not reach the furthest room. The AC in the rooms was not very cold during the day, and the AC units themselves were dusty and need proper professional cleaning as they can cause allergies and health issues. The carpets were dirty and require deep cleaning, and all the trash bins were dirty and need washing. Additionally, the curtains in one room was broken. The bathroom door lock nearest to the apartment entrance was broken, and we had to use a kitchen chair to keep it closed. Also, since it is an apartment, no basic amenities were provided such as toilet paper or soap.

Location was great, close to shops and entertainment. Building security were helpful. The host was great.
