The hosts are amazing! The location is in a private yet easy spot to go up or down the coast of Lake Como. It is a short distance to Varenna but no crowds!
The restaurant is a must, the owners and family are the chefs with all local farm to table food.
Our room was considered to be the first floor whoever as in much of Europe it does mean up one flight of stairs. Well appointed yet simple modern decor with fabulous amenities. The hosts were available for questions and provided ideas on where to go and fun things to do that were not as "touristy "!! We really appreciated their interest in us and our trip.
We would return here many times!!

Warm and responsive hosts who went above and beyond, allowing early check-in and sharing helpful travel information. The room was modern, spotless, and well-maintained, with thoughtful amenities like complimentary water, coffee, and tea. The balcony added a nice touch. The location in Lierna is peaceful and beautiful, with the beach within walking distance. It's very peaceful to stay and visit Lake Como.
There was a restaurant on site, but I couldn't try it out. The walk back to the station is uphill, which can be a bit tiring, especially with luggage, but it's not a big deal breaker. Avoid going late at night alone as it becomes too peaceful.

This is honestly the best place I’ve ever stayed in.First of all, the room is extremely comfortable and huge for one person. I had a single room and it was more than enough for me honestly bigger than I expected for just one person. The room was absolutely spotless, sparkling clean and everything smelled so fresh and good the moment you walk in. The bathroom is literally huge and the shower is amazing. The bed is very very comfortable. I had been walking the whole day and was exhausted and just snuggling under those sheets felt like heaven. The room also has a balcony and the whole ambience of the room is just so relaxing and perfect after a long day exploring.
Another thing I have to mention is how incredibly kind the hosts are. They are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. At one point I got stranded in a random town and they helped me get back to the guest house, which I will never forget. They really care about their guests. They also have a restaurant and I highly recommend eating there. The location is perfect. The beach is literally one minute walk from the house. If you wake up early enough, you can have the whole beach to yourself. I woke up at 7 a.m. one morning and went there, and I had the entire beach to myself for almost two hours. It was one of the best moments of my trip. The house is also ten minutes walk from the station, which makes everything very accessible. If you want to go to varrena its 10 minutes away by train
And honestly, for the price you pay, I still can’t believe it. For how clean, accessible and comfortable the room is, it is literally a steal. I’m planning another trip very soon. This will 100% be my stay every single time I visit Lake Como.
