Nesty Margana House

Great location for us. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Kitchen wasn’t very clean. We rewashed utensils and dishes before using them and the dishwasher didn’t work when we loaded what we had used. There is air conditioning in the main room and bedrooms, only one bedroom really worked. The kitchen stays very warm.

It is a very spacious and beautifully furnished property in a great location. It’s very central and has great restaurants, bars less than 10 minutes walk and a supermarket round the corner.

It is on the fourth floor with no lift but this wasn’t a problem for us as the host helped with our luggage on arrival and departure.

The location was great. Very close to center.

76 steps to the top with luggage that was extremely hard to do multiple times. The check-in was late because the cleaning staff was not done however they did allow us to drop off their luggage. It’s a nice apartment but make sure you bring euros because they want you to pay the Rome tax and cash which I do not feel good about, but I guess it’s a policy. Likely had two bedrooms with comfortable beds, a nice kitchen and dining area and a fold out bed, which was pretty comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again. It’s a good value for the location. But at the end of the day you had to climb those stairs it was pretty hard for some of the folks it’s for the young at heart.

Fantastic location, spacious and well equipped flat. Easy walking distance to the Forum, Coliseum, and the Spanish Steps. The landlord was responsive and communicative. There were several cafes and shops for breakfast & lunch food. 4 tough flights of stairs was really the only downside but the views from our windows were great. Kitchen was well stocked as were the 2 bathrooms.

We would have liked to have been able to check in a little early but the flat wasn't cleaned until mid afternoon.
