Pet-Friendly Irons Cottage w/ Fire Pit & Fireplace

We loved the rustic feel of the cabin while having all conveniences provided. The hosts have done a superb job of covering all needs. I loved the kitchen island with a hidden stash of games my 4-year-old granddaughter and I sampled. Easy access to the yard for my husband was perfect. Short drives to family and attractions (Jerky!) were great. We will use again if possible!

Only 1 issue we had was the entry code we were given did not work, but the guest advisor assisted us with it immediately when contacted. The outdoor porch chairs should be replaced as they were cracked. normal wear and tear expected on outdoor elements.

Quiet area. Everything worked though window a/c was rather noisy and didn't really make it to the farther away bedroom very effectively.

Keyless door code instructions in email wrong and even directions in the house itself (when finally in) were same incorrect information. The lock box for the key were also wrong ! So i.phomed. I was told last 4 of my phone. Still didn't work. She gave me a new code for the lock box that worked. It should not take over 10 minutes to gain admission. House is in the middle of nowhere...imagine if a person really had to go to the bathroom. She texted to say that the batteries in the keypad were probably dead and batteries on the island. Nope. Found some in a drawer of the island but they weren't the right size. Attention to detail to benefit the paying guests would be much better

Very clean and loved the ambiance with the wood burning stove etc…many convenient extras in the kitchen..electric tea kettle etc…

Everything was great. There was only one thing..the mattress on lower bunk in middle bedroom seemed like it was the box spring instead of mattress. You could run your hand along the surface and feel the metal coils or whatever they were. As my mother had the other bedroom I slept on the couch, which really didn’t bother me though.
