About this cabin rental
Our Rainbow Cabin is located in the middle of the Manistee National Forest, minutes from Blue Ribbon Streams, Steelhead and Salmon fishing as well as many other species. Also a few miles from Caberfae and Crystal Mountain. Hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling trails are minutes away as well. We have a private trout pond and fully stocked fly and tackle shop. Come stay with us in peace and quiet, as the cabins are set back in the woods. Take the trails up to the trout pond or shop! This cabin is in the same building as Cabin #1 with both cabins having their own entry, space and amenities.

Great place to stay. There was only 3 plates & 3 forks for the 4 of us. So we had to go get some plastic, and good thing I brought paper plates with us. The hot water heater is only big enough for 1 person to shower and takes a very long time to recover. Very peaceful place to stay and will be back. Make sure u bring tick & mosquito repellent or u will get carried away! lol

We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The cabin was very clean, affordable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were easy to work with.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the setup was a little different than we expected. The cabin is connected to another cabin, so there wasn’t as much privacy or secluded atmosphere as we were hoping for for an anniversary getaway. Adding a few exterior photos to the listing/description would be very helpful for future guests when booking.Overall, it was still a nice stay and a good value — just not quite the atmosphere we expected.

The cabin was nice and the location is nice, being in the trees. However, be prepared for very hard beds! I would recommend bringing your own air mattress to put on top. Even with the foam topper provided on the beds they were so uncomfortable we didn't get much sleep. Knowing that, it is a good place to stay.
