About this house rental
This beautiful vacation home has been thoroughly renovated in recent years with an emphasis on sustainability and offers approximately 125 m² of living space spread over two floors. Exposed half-timbered beams, warm colors, and the carefully selected, richly appointed interior create a cozy atmosphere. On the first floor, you’ll find the spacious living and dining area with an open kitchen, a large dining table, a cozy sofa nook by the wood-burning stove, an extensive library, a large chess table, and an OLED TV with a Blu-ray/DVD player, along with a DVD library featuring great classic films.
The fully equipped kitchen features, among other things, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a 4-zone ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, as well as a microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and various small appliances such as a smoothie maker, shaker, hand blenders. There’s even a raclette and fondue station and a Ferrari pizza oven.
The storage room right next to the kitchen contains a washing machine, a dryer, and ironing supplies—perfect for doing laundry during your vacation. On the first floor, there’s also a bathroom equipped with a shower/toilet and an extra urinal.
Sleep like you’re in seventh heaven! That’s the promise of the three bedrooms upstairs, each equipped with eco-friendly, completely metal-free sleep systems from DORMIENTE (180 x 200 cm) featuring full-length natural latex mattresses and the highest-quality eco-friendly bedding. The pillows are filled with natural latex, and the blankets with Tencel. Spelt husk pillows are also available. Of course, every bedroom also features a closet for your vacation wardrobe.
The main bathroom is also located on the upper floor, where you can truly pamper yourself with a bathtub, shower/toilet, and private sauna.
Two furnished terraces (south and west-facing) offer you the opportunity to follow the sun’s path. In addition to the beach chair, there’s a sun lounger with cushions and a luxury recliner made of teak and rattan from the Buxtehude Beach Chair Manufactory. In the evening, the west-facing terrace can be bathed in romantic light with string lights.
Good to know:
• Bicycle storage and two parking spaces at the house are available.
• A gigabit fiber-optic connection with free Wi-Fi and a telephone (free calls to German landlines) are available. To ensure a restful night’s sleep, the Wi-Fi is turned off at night.
• A high chair and a portable travel crib are provided.
This exceptional vacation home is ideal for 1–6 people. Up to two small dogs (no cats) are also welcome upon prior notice and for a fee.
