VILLA FRAGOLINA - VOLTERRA AREA
Villa Fragolina is part of a large wine estate, with a mix of traditional and modern touches. The surrounding countryside is rich in vineyards and olive trees but still not far from the tuscan coast. The nearest hamlet features a small grocery store, a fruit and vegetable shop, a coffee bar, a restaurant, a butcher shop, and a pharmacy. At a short drive away we find the pretty village of Peccioli offering a wider range of facilities.
The villa develops on two floors.
On the ground level we find a large air conditioned living area with comfortable sofas, TV and library; a well equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle), two dining areas, a bathroom with shower and a sitting/reading area.
Stairs from the ground floor take us to the first floor where we find one air conditioned double bedroom with ceiling fans, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, and a separate sitting room. This bedroom has stairs to the exterior; one double bedroom with air conditioning, ceiling fan and a separate bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, bidet and double sink; one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and built in wardrobe; one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and built in wardrobe in the corridor.
Outside the property offers a small lemon-house leading from the kitchen to an external dining area with built-in barbecue. There is a private swimming pool (10 x 5m; 1.2 – 1.5m deep) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Nearby, a gazebo providing some welcomed shade with table and chairs, is the perfect place for al fresco dining. For the younger members of the party, there is a swing and wooden play house.
